cool

cool looks good

Looks great for when winter comes. Probably three times that in September.

Not a bad little jacket for the price. Note that it's only waterproof in light rain though so don't be expecting a fully waterproof jacket. Good for the price though.

im 39" chest should I risk large size?

No 39'' is medium. I am 40'' and would not take large.

that's what she said.

I bought on of these last season - about the same price. Its a great light jacket (the Gillet in gold is a fashion faux par - its in the attic somewhere) but I just needed the outter for summer boarding trip so it worked for me. Lots of pockets and features - I can't testify to waterproofness though.

it specifically says "full waterproof" in the description?

It does. However, if you read the description on the site it states 10,000mm resistance. That's waterproof at low pressure, i.e. light rain, but anything more than that and it will let water in. To be honest, fully waterproof jackets are very expensive and unless you're well into outdoor activities in all seasons then this will be fine in a bit of rain.

I've never experienced Scottish rain but I've heard it's brutal. 30 mins maybe

jackets

You must be pretty disappointed when you go into a Virgin store then.
