COMFORT WITH HERITAGE.

The Nike Air Max 90 honours the OG with a revamped design that replicates the initial 1990 release. A "clean slate" colourway celebrates the shoe's 30th anniversary with the iconic Waffle sole.

Benefits

  • The 30th anniversary of the Air Max 90 is represented by pearlised lace dubraes marking "1990" on the right and "2020" on the left.
  • Originally designed for performance running, the Max Air unit in the heel adds cushioning.
  • The low-top design combines with a padded collar for a look that feels soft and comfortable.
  • Rubber Waffle sole adds traction.
  • Stitched overlays and TPU accents add durability, comfort and the iconic '90s look you desire.
  • Shoe box is redesigned to match the 1990 packaging.

My price point.

But with everything that's going off, I can't justify it...:(

Pretty subtle changes TBF. You'd struggle to see differences at distance even when you know what you're looking for.

Size blog about release

"What’s changed is clear when you take a look at the upper panelling: the mudguard starts lower at the forefoot, sloping a little flatter and rising closer to the collar than recent iterations. The shoe’s toe box height has also been readjusted to make it slightly narrower, so too has the heel branding shape. What’s more, extra padding at the ankle serves up plush comfort and takes the AM90’s design one step closer to the original."

Hence, the impending recession. Don't blame you!
I’ve always worn air max and I’ve noticed that the soles are wearing out much quicker these days than they used to 5+ years ago! I’m convinced that they have Weakened the rubber/using cheaper rubber! I used to get a year easy out of a pair and they were still looking Ok with a decent amount of grip left! But the Soles are well worn out after 6 Months of average use these days with the grips completely gone! Shame really because the rest of the trainer still looks pretty new! This has been the case with my last few pairs. Anyone else noticed the same problem?

It'll be the standard 90, the CS only comes in white.

This year the air max 90 has been redesigned to imitate the original 90's, they fit so much more confortable and are a smaller shoe in genral, I have a pair of camowabb 90's and the new recrafed and the diffrence is quite big, the wabbs feel like a brick in comparison.

I have noticed that myself the rubber on the sole does ware out very quickly, other trainer brands do last longer, Nike has been slowly cheaping out on materials and QC.

I'm not buying anymore myself mate! They are not worth the extortinate price anymore like they used to be!

Gonna stick with adidas from now on and see how they last.

Yep I have quite a few pairs of trainers so they last a bit longer I rotate which ones I wear, you can get sole protectors that do what they say on the tin but that costs money and you shouldnt have to be buying that, Adidas have got better soles I swear they even work with tyre manufactors for the rubber on the ultraboost etc, I just dont like the style of 99% of there trainers
I want, but like already said in these times any outlay has to be thought about.
Bought some Valentino Rockstuds just before the outbreak after 6 months of turmoil or wether or not too. Wish I hadn't now.
