Terrible reviews from a lot of people but one person wrote this

"If you look inside the shoe it even reads Training, Lift, Jump, Run, Cut. If you use these shoes for exactly what they are made for then you will realize that they are awesome!!!"

That's a great review.

But I am intrigued - is the reviewer saying that they think that people are using the shoes for the wrong purpose and are therefore dissatisfied?

If so, what are these incorrect uses of the shoes?

I think they mean that when you are doing the activities listed you would want the tighter more supportive fit that these shoes offer.

Thank you. That makes total sense now!
I have these. They are wonderful to walk in & the cushioning actually feels jumpy. Nice ride er loaf & velly velly hot.
I have these in grey and they're ideal for the gym
These were also £48 in my local Durham outlet last night (loads of pairs, loads of sizes), with odd pairs also in the clearance section as well so had a further 50% reduction. They also had them in grey (described as cool grey/black stealth) for the same price.

I picked up a grey pair for £24.
Nice find, I think they look smart tbf and there's 6% tcb available as well. Enjoy the heat!
Mine fell apart - the sole seperated from the footbed within 7 months. I have never had this from any other brand nor even a different Nike model.

They look better than they wear.

If you bought them from nike.com you should be able to return them if you contact them and complain about quality. I had a similar issue and have returned them to nike for a full refund 8 months after purchase as the plastic inside was torn through and rubbing.
I bought the same yesterday £24 from Amazon outlet
I put one of these shoes on my left hand and one on my left ear and they were a terrible fit: 1 star

This is still a common issue with Air Max (and, previously, Shox). 7 months is a tricky time frame, but if you ever buy Nike shoes again, keep the receipt and try to get a replacement from the retailer first.

So if a product is bad, but is slightly cheaper than it normally is, that constitutes a good deal?
These are sport shoes made for training, not foreveryday casual wear.
I think many people vote hot just by a quick look at the picture and mistake these with “lifestyle” models such as Air Max.
Are these any good for an old git running on a treadmill? I know running shoes are better than training shoes for this, but these seem to have good cushioning...
I have these, they are very comfy and great to your daily gym sessions, however if you’re thinking of using these for running (treadmill) they are not your best option as they are a bit heavy and chunky.
voted hot and ordered one pair.
The ones pictured seem VERY narrow, hence no use to yours truly
Thats the problem with Nike. If you get the size (width) right they're great trainers
Skechers manage that no problem. Adidas is like in between the two

My Nike Air Max are about 12-13 years old and are finally failing, the sole at the rear has worn away to the air chamber so they will not last much longer. I am trying to wear in a new replacement pair of Nike which are a bit uncomfortable and a little tight despite being 1 size larger. My Nike Air are leather and are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly. The ones on offer do not look like leather but looks could be deceiving.

Maybe Air Max quality OR materials has degraded in 12 years. lol I suspect the later, artificial materials are not as resilient as leather.
