Heat tho I only paid £48 a several weeks ago. I actually returned them after wearing them for about 3 weeks. I just couldnt get on with them. Found them very narrow and they gave me blisters, the laces were too short to use the heel lock eyelet and in general just didnt get the hype over them. Oddly I am getting on with the Pegasus 36 Trail version, its wider and just has a better feel for me even tho I am mostly using them on the road.
I have been tempted to try the Turbo 2 as its a steal at the moment but was put off because of my experience with the 36 road version.

I’ve bought a pair of the Peg 36s which are due for delivery tomorrow... will be taking them out on the road on sat and sun.

I was an adidas faithful, until they discontinued my favourite shoe - leaving me high and dry. This is something some brands do exceptionally badly - tell you what the next version is when they kill a shoe off.

With Nike at least you have dozens of previous iterations and know that there is some consistency! Might even try some others like the turbo 2 or perhaps the alphafly next if I’m feeling flush or win the lottery

The good thing is the returns. Its the first time iv returned my Nikes after wearing them and it was hassle free. I have 6 pairs of various nikes and all fit really well but this was my second attempt at trying the pegasus Road version, the previous one that I also didn't like but didn't return was the pegasus 35. I just wonder how much the turbo 2 differs, iv heard it sits between the trail and the road version.

Same experience here, ordered the standard and trail versions, kept the trails but sent these back as too tight in the toe box. I don't think I've got particularly wide feet.

They do sell and extra wide version which I'm tempted to try but 3 weeks Nike delivery puts me off.
I've had mixed experience with Pegasus, going back to 26; they seem to change things too much (narrower toe box, less cushion). Found Vomero suited me better. although later variants haven't been the best.

I got the 36 FlyEase at the beginning of Lockdown (in extra wide), it’s a decent shoe, but the rear heel for me was awful, it just didn’t feel secure to my foot even though it was. I’ll probably give On Clouds a go for my next pair once I’ve worn these out.

Same for me regarding not really having wide feet as my other shoes fit fine but was too worried if their wide versions would just be too much.

Totally agree, there seems to be something about the new models where the heel is sloppy, so I find myself over-tightening them. They only lasted 350 miles too for a £139 every two months its getting expensive.

How did you manage to return after wearing for 3 weeks?

I got the 36 in extra wide at the beginning of lockdown for £42. If you normally wear widenshoes they will be fine but I totally get whay you are saying about the heel area. I spend a good few extra mins tieing the laces in order for my feet to feel secure. Once that was sorted they feel great!

Nike currently allow 60 days for returns. I wanted to try my new trainers before keeping them, asked if this was ok and they said it was fine. This is their policy:

That is a great returns policy allowing you to actually go for a run using new trainers and then being able to still return them if not suitable. Never heard of that being offered by any other brand.

Yes, i didn’t think it was right when I first read it. But it’s things like this that build some loyalty to a brand - rather than just making one sale (‘no givesy-backsies!’) they want to keep you with them over time. A smart move and I’m sure that very few return them.... enough to make it worth it anyway!
Very comfortable, not too wide ,
Anyone else had issues with the quality of what the received ?
Ordered 4 various Pegasus
Not exactly why I expected from online. Back wal at an outlet maybe

Both pairs that I’ve received have been bang on. No complaints at all.

The Pegasus 36 is a fantastic running shoe, very pleased paying 50 odd quid for them.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had problems, their returns policy is excellent, so getting another pair shouldn’t be any sort of a problem.
There aren’t any more pairs. That’s the annoying thing.
I waited up till midnight the first evening the promo started, to get the pairs I wanted
The Pegasus trail, the logo is peeling off the side ! Which is the pair I loved the most
The turbos, the quality is also shocking - probably end up keeping as they were cheap I guess but it’s more like outlet standards
Surely they must replace like for like under guarantee? Whether or not they claim to have stock online or not!

I was tempted by the turbo 2s but went with the plain vanilla pegs.

Try and get in touch and ask them if you can get another pair of them if you send them back?!

Yer done all that. They don’t have any stock.
Ended up taking a 10% discount purely coz I can’t get the trails anywhere and they gave me 10% off the Pegasus turbo also.
Just seems a bit rubbish for online, I wouldn’t mind in a Nike outlet, I expect it and make the decision consider the quality and price point but online they should be decent

That's why I won't buy any Nikes with a printed main Swoosh.

Cheap is as cheap does.
