Not a runner but I do like a brisk walk for miles. Would these fit the bill?

I have a set of these I use for running, I’m not personally a fan of them for walking. I prefer Adidas Ultraboosts for walking.

Not great if you have wide feet. But I do have a pair which are fine for gym use. But feet were a bit sore after doing 13 miles on the road.

Didn't they ever so slightly widen the 39 after years of complaints there too narrow.

I get it, some people like the 'hugging' effect / zero slipping for running. But for people who have big toes or just for walking I can see both sides.

For interest. The Nike 'miler' was specifically made slightly wider they say for long runs when your feet might swell up or on hot days.

I say, perfect for people who don't intend to run but want slightly more room for walking.

Great shoes. Fantastic for walking after you're ready for a new pair too! I've ran everything from 5ks to marathons in the Pegasus and you can't go wrong with them as an everyday pair

My go to everyday running shoe, for my steadier runs (wear vaporflys or tempos for speedier runs) Got a pair of these in blue, fortunately managed to get them for £50 and whilst I couldn't get on with the Pegasus 38, these have been excellent. Even at £66 and also being an older model now that the 40s are available, they're still an excellent shoe. If it was closer to my birthday in September I'd absolutely be getting a pair of these

Just ordered some! Thank you. Love the Pegasus had about 6 pairs of these in total. Just about burnt my current ones out so great timing.

At the end of he day your getting a legit £100 worth of shoe for £66. So pretty good.

Rrp is £135 but I'd never pay, not suggest there worth that. As most things aren't.

Shops have to make 30%. Government takes 20% Nike have to make 20%>. When you buy £100 per shoes.. (or anything really) you'll literally getting 30 quid worth of trainer. Bear that in mind with everything.

I always check if something is advertised * 50% * off is it actually that good deal or was the price artificially inflated to begin with.

Are these ok for running on e.g a public footpath in a field and on surfaces apart from road? I'm not talking anything too demanding but I tend to do part road, part dirt track kind of thing , assume they'll be fine for that?
    rumham123's avatar
Yes, these will be absolutely fine for a bit of both, obviously not as stable on dirt tracks as a trail running shoe but more than grippy enough! (Source - I have a pair of them!)

Actually brilliant, love these shoes for running distance and at this price a no brainer

Rubbish- after 6 months 2 of the hooks holding the laces snapped and after getting wet in the rain they squeak terribly. Disappointed as my previous nike trainers lasted 3years.

I got these for when we went to disney really comfortable trainers

I wear these for general mooching about and the gym. Personally I didnt like these for running and actually got plantar fascitis which took ages to get rid of. I ended up having to go to specialist running shop who filmed my my style of running and how my feet were striking the ground and recommended another pair with different sole. Will always do the same from now on, never buying 'running shoes' online, YMMV of course.....
