I find it funny that the state of the 'Japanese' whisky industry got so bad they had to bring in a standard (albeit voluntary), to define what classes as Japanese whisky. It was all down to a large % of 'Japanese' whisky actually being sourced from all over the world but in some cases simply bottled in Japan.

Anyway, good to see this follows the recent standard (details below) - but it would have been nice if the standard did not let you put colouring in the whisky!:
