Agreed my son received this last Christmas, tough little toy and fun in the rain. Heat added

super find

You have two control sticks which control the left wheels and the right wheels independantly - like a caterpillar system. Pushing both sticks forward or backward makes the car move in that direction. Pushing only one stick makes the car spin round almost on the spot. So to steer whilst your moving you just have to ease off on one of the sticks a little - you'll get used to it! We take ours down to a local country park with a lake. My son drives it around on the muddy banks and then straight into the water to wash it off - it's totally amphibious. An excellent rugged toy for the money. Heat.

I bought one of these back in October from amazon prime for £25.43, I've only had it out for about half an hour as it's a Christmas prezzie for my 4yr old - from the quick go I had I think he's going to love it!

edit - and if he doesn't it's mine, all mine :-D

Fantastic find. Just bought one for my 6 year old.

Exx, i got one from 1986 ....nice products....quality...

Very hard to maneuver/ steer.
Great on a big outdoor but very hard to control in smaller space.
Just to say.
Fun tho but the tedious steering put me off it I have to say.
Why did they not put a wheel for command I have no idea...

Same here. Good little car on 100% charge but ideally you need 2 batteries as on full use it's flat in about 15-20 mins max. From what I recall when it was posted about 2 years ago, the batteries are a nightmare to get hold of independently.

Heat for the price, but not for the car. Range of about 20feet is very poor. Means you need to run after it constantly & need to be careful to keep it near to you in any ponds.

The nano version of this is available here:

for £22.99 plus £5.99 postage.
Has anyone had any experience of the nano? Trying to work out which to go for. Thanks.

Since read a few reviews & the nano doesn't come with a rechargable battery so it's a no brainer!!

Bought two one for OH & one for nephew. Just tried one out & I'm impressed quick (ready charged out of box) & seem quite robust. Let my four year old have a go & she almost smashed the door on the TV cabinet.....time to put them away until Christmas me thinks
