Just bought one of these. Very good for a point and shoot camera with 30x optical zoom. Also has Wi-Fi and GPS. No viewfinder but a decent and robust build with a vari-angle LCD screen.

Currys also sell a replacement duracell battery for this camera for £7.99

Great price!!!!!! got tired of waiting for this to drop in price and have ended up with the rather good sony hx400v for £158 brand new......would still like this one as it's certainly more pocketable! !!! great spot and heated up!

Sorry but you could get a Bridge Camera with double the zoom for less than this , so cold from me.
Nice looking camera though

Yeah was looking at those bridge cameras, awesome zooms! Shame they aren't so compact. I guess this provides a middle ground between a mobile phone and a bridge camera for a decent optical zoom

The Longer the lens, the more glass elements used and at the budget end of the spectrum your not going to gather much light at the long end so your get chromatic aberration all over the place as well as AF hunting in poor light or indoors.. I'd only recommend a 1/2.3 sensor based bridge camera with a consistent fast aperture through the Zoom Range like the FZ200/FZ330

Same price at Wilkinson Cameras. Seems good for the price.

Not sure how this compares but Curry's have a good deal on the Sony HX60V @ £169

They're very, very similar. The Sony most likely has marginally better performance in low light thanks to the slightly wider aperture lens and the extra stop of ISO sensitivity, and has faster burst shooting. The Nikon has a fully articulating touchscreen though, which is very nice for composition where there's no viewfinder available. The Sony is also quite a bit smaller too, so better for pocketing easily.

No not double the size. As I said less money & I was not making personal comments.
I also commented that it was a nice looking camera.
