Good price for the camera and an extra lens (camera and single 18-55mm lens usually around £330).

Jessops are price matching Currys but Jessops also giving a free accessory kit (Nikon bag, Nikon battery and cleaning cloth)

2% Quidco as well.

This is a good deal, but the Tamron lens is not a VR lens so you would need to use a tripod to get super sharp pictures and reduce the chances of getting blurred photos.

if your not maxing out the tamron lens and zooming to 200 its fine without a tripod.

You should really be looking for a VR lens for this.I got this Tamron lens and had to swap it for the VR.All of the zoomed pictures came out a little blurred

Also, at Jessops they are selling a VR lens. Curry's is not.

I can't see that it is either. Reviews of that lens say that it isn't.

Tempted if he knows a way of "upgrading" in store at the same money.

This deal is so worth it. My friend payed nearly £500 for the same deal at Curry's, except none of the lenses were VR. Best to get this deal. Check Amazon for your memory card as well.

Ahhh. Probably the problem solved about the VR lens.

Although the extra lens isn't VR at Jessops, the 18-55mm is, whereas at Currys, neither lens is VR.

Only VR, not the VRII lens - just spotted this

What's the accessories, can't see it off the supplied link? I bought this exact kit from jessops six months ago, I'm a novice and its a good starter bundle, I'm enjoying my photography. I've seen the same package a bit cheaper elsewhere since so it might be worth a little shopping around. If the accessories are good then its well worth it. I had to buy a camera bag and tripod and card and extra battery myself.

Check the link again.

There's a big yellow banner above saying: Case, battery and cloth

Has anyone bought this? Is the extra battery a genuine Nikon one? Is the bag a good fit / good quality?

I'm tempted by this - I was going to buy the body only as I already have standard lenses, but I would like a 300mm lens too. That one is £100 normally so I'd be getting the battery and the bag for £10 and I'd also get the 18-55 lens which I could hopefully sell on for £40-£50.

I've ordered. Its a Nikon bag and Nikon battery pictured. These are both about £30 each. Compared to £330 (for a non-grey import) for the camera and vr2 18-55mm lens - for an extra £50 you get the extra lens worth about £100, battery and bag....

Curry's are not offering a 18-55mm VR lens but Jessops are. The Tamron isn't VR.

I cant decide red Nikon D3200 at jessops which comes with the VRII lens and accessories at £330 or the red D3300 with 18-55 lens and accessories at £415 what is the best deal and what camera should i buy ?

this is not exprired why it shows expired

Assuming it's expired because the accessory kit is no longer supplied. Current offer seems to be a free 16GB SD card

Correct

I got the package and it comes with the 18-55mm VR II lens and not the VR I lens as I thought it would....
