Temporarily out of stock but can order now for delivery when available.

"£55 savings on Nikon D3400 Enter code OL78B5J8ZN5F at checkout." or click the promotion message to redeem.

It's not 100% clear if this is the VR version or not. It's not stated in the title but it states VR in the product description and box contents.

Either way it's still a good price.

Features:

- Compact DSLR captures high quality images

- Zoom lens kit features 18-55 mm lens

- SnapBridge lets you share your photos instantly

- Guide Mode offers step-by-step assistance when you need it

- Record video in Full HD for memorable home movies

- In-camera effects let you get creative

Amazon's price is £354 in the right column (as some may miss it), reduced to £299 with the code in OP's post:

Best price I’ve seen for the D3400 and looks like it comes with the latest af-p lens too. Good find!

Thanks, bought for my son for his Birthday

Thanks, bought for my son for his Birthday

Its my birthday soon can you buy me one too.

The wife wanted a new camera for crimbo.....this is her sorted!!! Thanks

Cheap but flawed.
No sensor cleaning? No thanks.

Out of Stock but good deal if it comes back in stock. Shows the VR lens in the photo.

D3300 is also a good camera if you can find one. This has the ultrasonic sensor cleaner, higher power flash and a mic port which are missing from the D3400.

That code gave me £75 discount = £279!

I also received a £75 discount at checkout. It was £55 earlier when I was thinking about taking the deal, but now when I ordered it went to £75. Final price is £279!

Same for me, could it be higher for Prime Members?

Think there is a cloth in the box, only takes a few seconds.

Very good price. Note that while AF-P 18-55 VR lens has very good reviews, there appear to be plenty of them quite cheap in grey and second hand markets.

Cleaning an OLPF-free camera sensor with a cloth? I wouldn't really recommend it tbh

Ordered - cancelled - reordered. Glad I came back to this page now after I ordered it at £299. Another £20 saved. Thanks all.

Sod it - I rarely do impulse buys, and I end up regretting it.

I reckon this looks like a good entry level DSLR.

Had the £75 promotional voucher too (was £50 earlier today when I looked - so unsure what's happened here).

Thank you OP

Now to think about a case and memory card for it

I think they've had a mis-price. Given that the £354 is the RRP minus £75, I suspect they didn't mean to subtract the £75 twice. Great if it gets honoured!

Will be interesting to see what price they come back into stock at.

Is there anything about the the d3400 that is better than the d3300??

I can't believe this doesn't even have wi-fi - what the hell(?). Also, you can apparently only transfer downsized 2MP photos via the bluetooth (??)

I noticed there is a high percentage of negative Amazon reviews and they seem to suggest there is no warranty card and no UK charger in the box. Someone also said their instructions were completely in Spanish(??). Is this a grey import?

It certainly won't be grey as it's supplied by Amazon UK. For all their dodgy tax avoiding, they are a trustworthy seller.

Wow, awesome deal! I got it with the code for an extra £75 off, not £55, so only £279. plus when I go onto the item now it says purchased... Style name, with lens kit, so fingers crossed 😁
Will they definitely honour the order, even if they made a mistake with the pricing/discount code?

Well, that's what I assumed but then saw the reviews. Hopefully you're right, however, I'm not as confident about it as you are. Amazon have sent me a lot of electrical stuff this year that was advertised as being UK versions with UK 3 pin plugs, but turned out to be imported with non-UK plugs on them when they were delivered. These were all purchased direct from them brand new - they don't seem to know what they're doing when you contact them about these kind of issues. Also, I've found a lot of their product listings are always massively incorrect and the people writing them clearly don't understand the products at all. I find I constantly have to get their product listings removed / completely changed due to massive errors in them. You wouldn't believe how many times this has happened on stuff I've purchased from them - a lot of it is expensive electrical stuff too. Anyway, hopefully this deal works out well for everyone.
