Isn't this just the normal price?

Unless I'm mistaken this is the same camera/lens combo I got from amazon for £294 just before Christmas (using a £75 off code)?

If so, be advised (as I was and didn't listen), this does not have WiFi transfer and had instead Bluetooth transfer to smart devices and is pretty rubbish in all fairness.

Cheaper on Amazon - …Cheaper on Amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nikon-D3400-18-55VR-Digital-Camera/dp/B01KOADMG4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1517603928&sr=8-1&keywords=nikon+d3400

Look around. You will find it cheaper
349 at JL with the trade in thing - apparently they dont check

seems you need to take the camera 'next time you are instore' ... so if you are not instore then its not like you are breaching t+c... #

Much better service from Wex.

Much better service from Wex.

Better than JL? Really? Assume JL will give a 2 year warranty too?
I got mine for 200 (since sold for 350) so this isn't the best offer in the world, tbh.
nice
I got the d5300 with this lens for £380

JL are fine if buying in store, but have been known to cancel online orders with very poor excuses for doing so. Warranty is 2 years as standard from Nikon. Wex customer service is amazing, better than Amazon imo.

I've always found JL to be excellent but I guess they all screw up from time to time.

I'm not sure how that makes a difference? With Amazon using a 3rd party to fulfil the order, cheaper, it's still cheaper on Amazon (fulfilled by a 3rd party)....

Cheaper here if you don't mind a Grey Import..

This is the same for the Amazon Marketplace traders and is how they are cheaper than Amazon themselves. You are unlikely to get a 2 Year Nikon UK Warranty from them.

amazon aren't using a 3rd party to fulfill an order - a 3rd party is using amazon as a way to flog their stuff

Ok, so we digress... Although, I believe it's the same thing, depends which way you look at it, no? Amazon are using a 3rd party to fulfil an order - by which I mean I walked into Amazon's virtual shop to browse, and see an item I like.... it's not Amazon stock, but I'm buying from their store... so Amazon are fulfilling the order with 3rd party products and taking a comission. The 3rd party are using Amazon as a platform to flog their stuff... same thing.

Wasn't so much screw up, just bad customer service. Purchased a camera through them as it was a bit cheaper than elsewhere. My order was promptly cancelled, with the excuse that my card didn't meet their security requirements (never had problems anywhere else). They advised that I could order over the phone instead. I rang them up, I was then told the camera I had ordered was out of stock, but they did have another camera I could order instead. This was the exact same camera but with a different stock number but at a higher price. As they wouldn't honour the price they had advertised I went elsewhere.
A better company such as Amazon or Wex would have honored their price (can vouch for this, having dealt with them before).

They have always been good in-store, if you google it though, it seems if they make a mistake with their pricing then they do not honour it. I've purchased from Wex and Amazon before where they have done the same and both have honour their prices, even though they had made a mistake. Really good trade in allowance from Wex also, they will collect your old camera free of charge and if you are not happy with the offer they make then they return it free of charge also.
What is the point in posting "I got XXXX for £XXX" without any further information?

Guess what I got a Gold Plated Bugatti Veyron for 50p once.
