Can be found marginally … Can be found marginally cheaperhttp://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/prod267.html

The two cheaper retailers have no stock. Nikon prices have been hiked 10%-15% recently so I can't see the price going down, most likely up so this isnt' a bad price!

This is an oldish model and has regularly been available around £225 recently even in supermarkets.

Give us links to these deals please, if you have found it cheaper we all need to know where as this is what the site is about and it helps the OP understand why his post is going cold.....

Use the "search" function and you can find the old deals yourself. Then you can help the OP if that is your desire

as the cpb site given above - this is pretty much the standard price - not a hot deal. I don't have links but if you search on this site you will see that this camera is regularly available cheaper than this instore at the supermarkets or in comet/pcworld etc with their price match deals.

eg - recently available under £200 - see in this thread
hotukdeals.com/ite…ki/

OK those are not prices today and yes nikon have raised prices but I cant say that this looks a hot deal. I suppose the point is that saying reduced from £400+ sounds good, but really nobody pays anything like that.

For anyone looking to get this camera, this is one of the best prices at the moment so I think it acts as a good heads up. Trust me, each time I look at Nikon prices recently, they keep going up! This could yet do the same even if it is not their most recent model.

I wonder how many other manufacturers are going to make the UK pay for having a weak pound by bumping their prices up even further?

£225 in currys instore when i looked a few weeks back, good camera i already have one ...

The guy didnt say they had been listed cheaper on HUKD before just that they were cheaper in some supermarkets. If he has seen them cheaper then I was asking him to list them for all of us.
As for helping the OP, surely a job for all of us? :whistling:

This has regularly been £220-£230 over the past 6 months.

I prefer this deal:

I think you missed a bit... Nikon prices have risen 10%-15% in the last couple of weeks so prices from the last 6 months are just that. Canon prices will be upped about 10% and other Japanese companies are likely to be following suit. I'm not sure if all retailers will be passing on the cost increases though!
