Hot! Thanks for posting (Im a canon man myself but this is a great price).

That's a pretty good price. I think its the first time its been so low and now makes it a much better purchase compared to the D3100.

Superb camera!

The D5100 is just around the corner, these will probably be discounted everywhere.

Great price!

I'm guessing this is a low-end DSLR? What is the best DSLR to get with a 400-500£ budget with a decent lens and zoom...Experts in the know!

Can't go much wrong with the nikon d90 and a 18-105mm lens, kit can be had for around £550. still think the d5000 with the 18-105mm is much better value for money. The d5000 is due to be replaced soon with the d5100 hence the price drop

Second that for the D90, Switched from Minolta/Sonty to Nikon and never looked back.

It is an excellent camera for the money. Anyone who says different has no idea what they are talking about.

Crap? Rubbish!
If it isn't producing good pictures then either the camera or your photographic skills are defective!

Not of any relevance now; none with this firmware have been shipped for over a year.

The D5000 has the same sensor as the D90 and £1000+ D300; the rest is down to you.

The d5000 is a FANTASTIC camera. It has the same sensor as the more expensive d90, but with a swivel screen and smaller body.

My other half uses one of these and sells images to stock photo sites, so the quality is there anyone who says otherwise needs to learn how to take a photo properly.

Doesn't seem to be available anymore.
