Lowest I have seen for a very good camera with lens kit. £20 cheaper than Currys / PC world.

Qualifies for Nikon cashback.

good price, almost time to upgrade for me, thanks OP
You're welcome. Bought one just last week (£419.99 less 5% Currys code) and impressed so far.

Currys has 10% cash back offer on quidco at the moment so might want to factor that in to the comparison still a good price tho
Never had much luck with Currys and Quidco... Fair point though.
Still waiting for Quidco to pay the correct amount from Currys for my purchase of a D5100 in November!
Is this better then the 3200?
Wow. This is a great deal. Amazing price!
Good price. Bought it last week when the currys deal was on. The only thing I'd be unsure of is it is for filled by Amazon but sold by a 3rd party.. does that mean it is UK stock i.e will get the extra warranty / Nikon cashback
@ bfam I think the 5100 just edges the 3200 in the reviews, but it was the flip out screen which did it for me which I thought would be more useful

I'm getting tempted, but a lot of money for me, shame it doesn't come with a bag etc or another discount of some sort...
It says that it qualifies for the cashback deal so would expect it to be UK stock. Third party but fulfilled by Amazon so I would be pretty confident.

Did you guys not raise an issue with quidco?

I can't understand why they didn't pay.

Older but from a better range. Have a look here: snapsort.com/com…100

Reduced already and another £40 cashback from Nikon. Should be able to get a bag with that!
I chose this over D3200.

Only advantage of the D3200 was more megapixels. Which many argue is drawback. I've cropped 16mp photos and they're still fine. Found from research I can blow pics from D5100 up to 60x40 cm at over 200dpi and that's good enough for me!

This has a number of additional modes, more ISO stops (which surprised me now I'm using it as a big advantage, and that flip out screen. Initially I thought flip screen was pointless gimmick but handy for shots about headheight. Also useful for protecting screen. Ordered from Devon camera and got cashback no problem. Arrived already!

Hope this helps.
Great product - good price, but check out the same price at Currys with 10% quidco cashback

Muppet. Quidco isn't guaranteed. Read other peoples' experiences...
same think has happened to me re Currys quidco. You need to raise the issue with quidco and they will sort it out. a bit of a pain. I have decided not to use Currys at all since they have cost me so much time chasing up quidco. If they promise a deal they should pay up without any hassle. Not a fan
Price now £419.99 - same as Currys in store price
Back down to £400.
Seems a great deal
The D7000 is an awesome deal with the cashback. I returned my 5100 which I bought in early March and went with the D7000 and haven't regretted it. You do lose the flip-out screen but really it's main use is for video, which as a photographer I wouldn't use.
Using the camera now primarily with the 35mm AF-S.

The photos look superb BUT if you are doing any video, you can only manually focus when not in Live View mode and using auto-focus, the sound of the focus movement from the lens can be heard quite prominently on the video.

Also, I'm still waiting for the full 10% cashback from currys.... also used the double cashback promo and that only paid out at 1.5% as well.

my 2p worth

Currys+Quidco, not worth the hassle.
Not bad but I just bagged a D7000 for about the same price LOL

How does this compare with a D3200?
good price on the battery ordered
Cold - inferior to canon in both price, specs and performance

I ordered a battery from them in January, still waiting on it, emailed them loads and had no reply, read the reviews online appear to be con merchants!

So cold that its almost reached 10 times the heat of both your posts for canon deals!
I've got a few lenses which would do. Is the body only price of £349 (minus £40 cashback) still a good deal?
Is this better than the canon 700D?
