Anyone looking to start taking photography more serious this camera really is the perfect starter DSRL camera for any wannabe professional photographer.

I have since moved onto a pricier model but saw this deal and wanted to recommend it.

You can also pick these up on eBay a little cheaper if you have time to do your research with the sellers.

Good luck

I bought a grey import 5200 a while back thanks to a deal on here. Great camera. The 5300 is a definite step up but can I justify the spend? 🤑
Bought it from ebay 3 years ago for £439 from a London based camera store. Best intermediate camera available. Heat added.
Great camera. Sh*te retailer if you need any form of Customer Service

£520 on Amazon. Great camera. Great Customer Service
I agree, great intermediate camera. Like you said, cheaper on eBay:

ebay.co.uk/itm…KKr

Seems like a descent seller

Exactly just like we’re onto mirrorless these days not stuck in the dark with dslr’s Without live view (proper live view) and EVF’s! This is ancient tech

EVFs have been around years, how come every professional photographer you meet still chooses DSLR?
Is D5600 an upgrade on this?

not sure why you are quoting me but i am sure your sample size is huge and relevant

as for reasons there are many including
sticking with established systems either from comfort with system (and/or current satisfaction) or ignorance
lack of lenses
public perception from people like yourself

these things will change over time though

I'm not being rude, I'm actually interested. So you think EVF is the future or are you refereing to another technology? And I'm quoting you so that you know I have replied to you....

whatever one you want not up to me
not sure why you keep coming back to me - i am not advising either way, only stating potential reasons why mirrorless doesn't have the uptake it could have
fantastic camera for price have one two years now
It's £529 on Jessops too, and if you're a Costco member it's £529 with a bag:
