yes --- BUT

"taken from the eBay listing"

Import Tax/Duty/Clearance Fee

The item will be shipped to you from our Hong Kong office. The item may be subjected to customs import tax/fee when it enters your country. By buying internationally, you are considered an importer. Therefore it is your responsibility in case there is some import tax/fee to pay.

you will have to pay VAT and customs fees plus and handling fees

therefore not such a good deal - cold

Suspect that you will only get the 1 year warranty rather than the 3 year warranty you would expect from a UK seller.

yes states 1 year warranty in the listing

also UK Nikon dealer may refuse an in warranty repair as it will not be UK spec

TBH not worth teh risk on such a high value camera

Would you really spend that much on an SLR and expect it go wrong in 3 year?

i got a d7000, and it was dead on arrival, so problems do occur.
i wouldn't use digitalrev personally.

Looking at Mifsuds.com prices (listed in the current Digital Camera), as a quick example, it looks like that your deal price would save you around £50 - 60 (depending on how much you pay for your UV filter and CF card bought separately). Is that sort of saving really worth the risk you run on buying from Hong Kong? The VAT if you get caught is £357! Also how much would you have to pay for a 3 year extended warranty if you bought one on an item with a 12 month warranty? For goods valued at nearly £2K I bet it would a lot more than £50 or £60.

I buy small value items quite happily from Hong Kong, China, etc but I wouldn't want to risk something as costly as this.

Gotta be a gambler to go for this deal. Get a UK sourced camera, don't import, it isn't worth the hassle.
