Love this lens. Good price.

Bargain price as the 18-300 is now what i paid for this 2 years ago

great lense, great price. I have the vr one which suffers from creep. If i hadnt spent a fortune recently, i would buy to replace mine as this should have the zoom lock switch.

It does indeed

be aware items not sold by amazon eu sarl are not eligible for cashback. ordered the last item (if amazon was showing correct), but still thinking if made the right choise or 18 300 which is one stop down at tele could have been better.

Depends what you're using it for but I own this lens and I'd go for the 18-300 nowadays, the extra zoom is a HUGE amount and you're unlikely to be using it anywhere but outdoors at that kind of magnification - wildlife etc.so the f stop isn't so significant If the £50 applies to the 18-300 too then this one is only £30 cheaper.

The cashback offer on 18-300 is for the old model 3.5-5.6. It will be twice expensive than this. My order shows dispatched so fingers crossed.
