Never dealt with them myself but they do have a shop and will price match.

There's some reviews here.

Wouldn't worry too much about their prestige. Theyre one of the countries biggest sellers of Nikon cameras! Absolutely trustworthy, just a bit dated I guess!
Grays are a long established company serving photo enthusiasts for many years.
This is going to be the same price everywhere shortly. It’s part of Nikon’s new summer promotion, which runs until August.

The Price has been reduced elsewhere on the Z7 and D750 but the Z6 is currently cheaper at Grays.

what's the benefit of Nikon full frame mirrorless cameras vs Sony's full frame mirrorless?

I bought an A7 for 509 with the 24-70mm lens and very happy with it with the exception of no OSS and no 4K video... I'd have to upgrade to A7 III for that for about 1050 (minimum price)-1200, and those 2 features just aren't worth twice what I paid

That was likely a misprice that went OOS within 30 mins. Surely you can't use that for a fair comparison of price.
There's a reason they took the whole product page down on the same day

That was a mis-price, price now for body only is £1,799 add the 24-70 f4 lens and you are looking at £2,538 (£2,308 with cashback).

Yea, I ordered a a6300 from Amazon two weeks ago when they reduced their price, order was acknowledged as next day delivery, but it still hasn’t arrived..
Blimey, Grays of Westminster, remember them from the late Eighties, two, slightly weird, posh guys in a basement flat in Victoria (moved above ground later on) Would give you decent cash for mint used Nikon gear, offloaded a lot of Nikon equipment with them at the time.

Nikon is known to hold on to concepts quite rigorously.

If Greys are doing this price, it will get cheaper. They have a great reputation but they are expensive.
Posh guys or not. This is around £ 300.00 cheaper than a summer promo price, and the best price so far from release for the Z6 kit. Probably cheaper then prices from Hong Kong Del Boys right now.
Same price at Argos
I haven’t bought from Grays since I learned of the Scientology connections.
Firmware v2 now available

Adds eye detection AF + Improved AF performance under low light & Auto AE in burst mode
Polin might be an acquired taste but his review of the new eye af firmware is quite thorough and unbiased, worth a look.

Here's a review of the Nikon Z24-70 f4 lens

And the Sony Kit FE28-70 f3.5 - f5.6 lens for comparison
opticallimits.com/son…oss

You could buy the Sony 24-70 but that would cost another £700 and its still not as good.
I was tempted by the Z6 as a change from Fujifilm. I’m waiting for the Fuji 16-80 f4 but the kit lens for the Nikon would be a stop wider, hmmmm

Would expect the image quality, dynamic range and low iight capability would be better also.

On the Nikon?

On the Nikon?

Hi, late reply, but yes image quality would be better on the Z6 due to the full frame sensor.

Better low light ability, higher dynamic range, ooc jpgs are very good also. XQD cards are quite expensive though.
