Hell of a deal if you use this stuff - even the 5L sells for £35!

Initially shows as £100 but select "green" and "25 litres" and other seller options gives you Amazon for this price.

Jeez that'd be for one hell of a big coat !

Free delivery not bad for something that weigh upwards of 25kg too!

Excellent price for 25litres...paid £30.35 for 5 litres in July and that was a reasonable price at the time...just ordered the 25litres although I suspect I'll be cursed by the delivery driver when he turns up and almost cripples himself under the weight of it...either that or it'll be a typical Hermes Delivery and will arrive damaged and leaking everywhere in a soggy box oO

Cheers OP for posting....

Fab price, just paid £35 for 5l, Sod's law!

Nice one - just ordered my barrel!

always good if you can describe what the item is in the description!

'need'? im not sure ive ever actually 'needed' anything on hukd....

Lol, I know the feeling!

Is there a use by date?

Better .stuff out there for less£

Maybe it's just me, but I find that NixWax products very overrated?

Can you recommend me some please? I normally use this or Halo sports wash.

Great price as you need a capful per wash. This will last the rest of your natural existence!

NEVER describe what you're buying/selling if you use MyHermes!

Saves them the trouble of ripping the box open to see if it's worth nicking...

Guys what is this!? tell me. My fingers twitching to press buy it now ... i've already spent £150 this week on rubbish from HUKD (no word of a lie lol)

I'd never considered buying an expensive jacket made of material with a breathable membrane and then use an inappopriate detergent to ruin the breathability

Good find! Hot deal!

soap flakes are just as good. not washing detergent - pure soap flakes. you will probably find nikwax wash and the like are very similar... have been washing my goretex in soap flakes for the last couple of years. no difference to nikwax.

but then 25l of nikwax is probably cheaper than soap flakes. good deal op.

Good point!!!
i wouldn't use, or advise anyone else to use, a detergent either, but i would use pure soap flakes, as recommended by garment manufacturers.

anyway, 25 litres of techwash for £45 is a good deal.

Goretex themselves recommend detergent. (With a few caveats).

Liquid soap flakes is what I've always used. Not sure if soap flakes are cheaper than this, but this is definitely cheap for the NikWax stuff.

Does anyone know what the difference is between "green" and "neutral"? Surely they wouldn't sell stuff that dyed your clothes green...

There's no difference. It's just how it's been listed. Nikwax only make one type of Tech Wash.

It waterproofs items placed on your washing machine.

No it doesn't, it just won't ruin already waterproof items and can slightly revive waterproof items.

stonking deal, great find- thanks!

Now my maths was shocking at school (still is) but let's take a look...
25 litres = 25,000 ml
Experts suggest using approximately 50ml per wash = 500 washes
Experts suggest washing garments every month for excessive usage = 41.6 years

Great price but do you really want this much Nikwax?

All products from them are marked with a manufactured date and guarantee the performance for 4 years although older liquid will not harm the garment so don't expect that Nikwax to be working well after 40 years

Man, I need to get out more.

strongly think amazon will just cancel this, just like how they do for pretty much all misprices..

i've gone halfies with someone so thats my jackets good for the next 20 years. I might speak to some friends and split it into litre bottles for christmas presents

I have a 1 litre bottle (had it for about a year) and it says BBE 05/16 so I am guessing they give about a 3 year shelf life...
I'm not sure why it would degrade much though, if you store it cool, stable and out of light.

incredible deal, heat

It cleans outdoor technical clothing.

You need to re-apply waterproofing after using tech wash
