Nildram - offers provided when requesting MAC code..... free wireless router or free months

Just requested my MAC code with Nildram for other reasons.... however I have had a standard response offering the following:

Dear xxxxxxxx

We are sorry that you are leaving Nildram.

We are unable to generate a MAC code for you at this current time due to a failure in our automated process. I have escalated this and have requested a manual generation for you. This should take 24 - 48 hours. Please accept our apologies for this delay.

Meanwhile I have listed details of 2 offers if you are interested in staying with Nildram.

1. We have an unlimited version of Broadband 2Go Lite for £13.99 inc Vat per month on an annual contract. As standard this package is capped at 250 Mb's of data transfer on a monthly term but as a special deal to you I can offer an unlimited version at the some monthly fee with 2 months free. You will only pay 10 months out of the 12 month contract. I can also offer a free wireless router with this package.

Or

2. The unlimited version of Broadband 2Go Lite as above on an annual term but instead of the free wireless router we can offer 3 months free instead. You will then only pay 9 months out of the 12 month contract.

How do these offers sound?

If you are interested in either of these offers then please advise; if not I will get the mac code to you as soon as possible.

what are nildram like?

They have sold out to other ISP's I believe. My Nildram account is **** poor at the moment, the internet speeds are so slow for what we pay and are told our line speed is.

Would 250 megachuffs interest anyone these days? That'd be, like, 3 days browsing HUKD

They are offering unlimited for the same price though.

They are tieing you in for a year!!! cheaper to go o2 or bethere!

They're doing this to migrate people onto the Tiscali network, same as the rest of the Pipex owned companies bar Bulldog (who are having issues getting away from Cable & Wireless).

So your 'unlimited' service will be unlimited with a stupidly restrictive fair use policy, **** poor speeds and no customer service.

Be very, very wary of anything to do with the Pipex group at the moment, because I know a few people that work in their tech support who are told daily to plain lie to customers about this Tiscali migration.
