Nilfisk C110.4 Pressure Washer £49.99 @ argos (may include free patio cleaner worth £29.99 as well)

Found 2nd Aug 2014
Reserved a Nilfisk Pressure washer yesterday at £64.99 on the strength of all the positive reviews of it on HUKD recently

went to collect it today only to find it is on offer at £49.99!!

Even better it also included the additional patio cleaner attachment. No mention of this on the Argos site but reading a few reviews some other people got the patio cleaner bundled as well so not sure if this is happening on all orders or just some but mine had the extra cleaner taped to the top of the box..

This is the extra patio cleaner i got bundled...
argos.co.uk/sta…htm usually £29.99 at Argos.

Edit: looks like I received this bundle as a substitute. Hopefully this substitution is national.
argos.co.uk/sta…htm

just picked my one and is C110.2 and no Patio cleaner so no national only store specific

Cool, have been looking for washers today. Hopefully the one I have reserved comes with the patio cleaner - fingers crossed...

I bought one from the karcher outlet for £60 and that included a patio cleaner. It may be a better buy-you pays your money...

just ordered. pick tomorrow. need to spend a extra penny to get a £5.00 voucher.

what is cheapest thing you can buy in argos

Try clearance toys they're only 99p or Xmas clearance

Are they not refurbished products on Karcher outlet though?

iPhone 5c bumpers are 99p

Karcher are carp compared to nilfisk machines believe me I've owned both.

^ The Lidl ones are crap.

I think this is the old model as I bought the basic Nilfisk one too, from Argos, a couple of weeks ago, but it's a newer design. Still, this should be just as good, especially with the free patio cleaner - and it's £6 cheaper than I paid, as well.

are you sure its c110

shady

I'm wondering if they just gave him the wrong one - there's a more expensive version which comes with the Patio Washer in the catalogue I think?

Nice result either way tho - I could really use the Patio doodah for our yard but £40+ is a silly price for it.

Agree. I've had three Karchers ranging from the cheapest to the second most expensive. Non of them lasted more than a year. Have had Nilfisk for three years and have had it running non stop for hours some days doing my block paving and it's never stopped.

Product number (126139229)suggests C110.2

does it say the version on the outer box? might try my luck tomorrow!

Patio cleaner? Whoooopie f...in dooo! If u think one of those absolutely pointless attachments is £30, more fool u, complete bee-lux!

I would like to remind folk, water ain't free; I bought the £30 Titan@90 bar, that uses £6-7 worth of water per hour! Just saying!

It's a good price for a nilfisk but it doesn't include the detergent adapter and also recommendations for power washers are they should be 120 bar minimum and this is only 100 bar. £49.99 is a good price but the Nilfisk C120 is a far far better machine and it too will come down in price. Previous prices at Amazon have been £69.99 so maybe worth keeping a look out.

I do agree about KARCHER btw! Mine was a very expensive model( petrol ) in the day (1999), but I suspect quality, nay I know quality has dropped; as for those KARCHER window VAC's? FFS!

IIRC, the Karcher power washers use plastic within the pump assembly and are very susceptible to failure as a result whereas Nilfisk use metal instead which makes them much more reliable.

Thanks op

I went to Argos for this and ended up with the nilfisk centennial. It wasn't online or in the catalogue, but was on the computer search in store at the reduced price of £79.99. I am blown away by performance. I previously had a 5 series karcher costing 4 times more and this is much better. Pressure is great. Foam bottle attachment is excellent. Came with patio cleaner and car brush attachments. I know its £30 more but it's way more for your money assuming it's still available.

If this is 110.4, then this should be 110 bar right? going by amazon and other sites that list it.....

You seem to be a very angry man. Just to correct a few points made. The patio cleaner is a worth while attachment, halves the time taken without. Pressure washers use less water than a hose. I'm no expert on water bills (because I don't give a damn) but I'm pretty sure you're not looking at £6/7 per hour otherwise I'd be broke from the wife watering the flowers.oO

You bought yours from somewhere else and not Argos. If you do a search on the EAN number (barcode) you will see this is specific to Argos and Homebase (owned by same group) therefore coming with the accessories as shown in the picture. If you purchase the same cleaner from somewhere else it will have a different EAN number and possibly different accessories as yours has. The C110.4 available from Cleanstore comes with the detergent bottle and patio brush. The key is in the model number after C110.

My hose has this little sprinkler attachment which makes the water trickle out in a fine spray which is a lot less than the 5 litres a minute output of the pressure washer which puts a bit of a hole in your theory lol. Also like saying people who drive fast or high performance cars get done for speeding more.

Karcher are carp compared to nilfisk machines believe me I've owned both.

Got one last year. Put it though it's paces last year cleaning my parents' very large driveway (think 10 car drive that hadn't been cleaned in 15 years). Just got it out again today and washed my car. Survived the winter without an issue. More than I can say for my old cheapo Karcher.

Have you got a catalogue number (there should be one on the packaging)? Cheers.

I think Argos are probably substituting as the one i received appears to be the same as the more expensive £89.99 bundle.

This appears to be the bundle they are supplying...(well they did to me and a few other reviews suggest the same)
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1928631.htm
I received exactly the same items as in this bundle, the cleaner itself matches and is supplied with the patio cleaner, 2x nozzles, lance and extension and detergent bottle. all accessories other than the patio cleaner were in the main box. Just the patio cleaner was in the extra box which was securely taped (appeared to be factory taped, not Argos) on top of the main box.

This is what i got....
