Nilfisk Compact 135 Pressure Washer with Patio Cleaner £125 @ Argos

The c135 is where Nilfisk moves to induction motors, it is a highly thought of machine. The unit alone is £150 on Amazon although I know this price moves up and down regularly. The patio brush is often of little use with lesser powered units but with this machine's power it is worth having. This set rarely comes up on offer so it is a good time to buy a good all rounder. Great for cars and patios with the 6m hose.

  • 1700 watt induction motor.
  • Flow rate 440 litres/hour.
  • Rated bar - 115.
  • Max bar - 135.
  • Suitable for medium to heavy tasks.
  • 6m hose.
  • 5m mains cable.
  • Wheeled for ease of use.
  • Maximum temperature of 40°C.

Accessories included:

  • Extension lance.
  • Dirtblaster lance - provides a concentrated blast of power to remove dirt.
  • Pressure adjustable lance - allows you to alter the level of water pressure to suit the task.
  • Quick connector.
  • Patio cleaner.
  • Low pressure detergent gun.
  • Removable detergent tank.
  • On board storage.
  • Weight 17.8kg.
  • Manufacturer's 2 year guarantee.

Nice little deal you find op expecially after selling all the accessories you don’t need and then buying a nice snow foam lance and maybe upgrade the hose to no kink heavy duty and sell the original or keep as a spare

That would just make it perfect . I have a Superflex on one I use, they make all the difference.

100%
I’d probably sell the original trigger sprayer too and attachments and hose and get something like this no kink hose along with a short trigger sprayer with attachment but you need to make sure if it’s compatible with your pressure washer , I’m not sure if this one below is because this machine has a hose reel and the end outlet may be different to those that don’t have a reel

That would be handy for cars washing, very manoeuvrable. DH are sometimes lacking on customer service, no reply to emails etc. but for something like that set, it should be straight forward.
Heat added - in case anybody is interested Costco have a couple of deals on nilfisk washers..

Don't believe that this one is an induction motor as they also advertise the same 1700W 135 model specifically stating that it is induction motor, but it doesn't ha e the patio round brush and is more expensive at £150

If I understand you correctly, you are not sure this posted version is induction. All 135's are, at 17.8kg it has to be. Plus it says so in th specs. "1700 watt induction motor.".

To be honest I have no idea, but just seems strange that they have the posted version that does not mention induction in the title and also a more expensive one that specifically does?
What I can gather is the Argos one is an Induction motor 135.1i and the costco one isn't (135.1)? Which is also confirmed by the hose length according to the nilfisk site (induction has the shorter 6m hose).

To clarify, for anyone who's unsure:

both Argos variants are the C135i with differing accessories, which has the induction motor, as can be clearly seen in the images and spec.

The Costco model is the C-PG135.1 which has the universal motor.
Would this model be overkill for car washing? Looking to get my son one for xmas but didn't really want to spend this much

Not really. The lower powered models manage it but if you move down from something like this, you definitely notice the difference in terms of time and the ability to shift dirt off the car. If your son is something of a detailer, he will thank you for getting this model. He will thank you for any but this is a very nice machine and you can give it with confidence.

I've literally just picked this model up, glad to hear he should like it. He's always out cleaning his & his friends car, occasionally mine, so I should benefit from this too

Then it is perfect. I was looking for a washer a while back and waited ages for this to be on offer but something else came up before it. Just be sure he drains it after use and protect from frost. Also run water through to remove air locks before running it. Same as any washer. Not doing that kills a lot of washers in time, hence all the complaints.

I started of with a lower power pressure washer (110 bar (400 flow rate) and it was horrible , I had to go over the same panel 2-3 times or use a concrete attachment which is dangerous for painted surfaces , I wouldn’t ever recommend anything less than 130 max bar (440 flow rate) I find 140-160 max bar is the sweet spot which my friend has and you only need to go over the panel once and it shifts the dirt and the snowfoam lances works beautifully with this power
If you get this machine or the Costco one for your son he’s going to be happy

It’s probably best to contact direct hoses and asking them to double check , as far as I can see it says it’s for the c series nilfisk which these are

Which outlet bit did you notice is not the same?
Also I cant see from the picture where the other end of the hose goes in the reel...

I think the outlet on these is internally plumbed to the high pressure side ie no screw on fitting externally.

You could be right but saw this on the Argos website which looks the same but on the other picture it’s on a reel but can’t see the screw end

Saw another video YouTube and they saying the pressure washer with reel are different to the normal screw outlet ones without reel and some machine could have reel but end outlet be the same screw in outlet

It’s best to contact direct hoses or cancel it for now and check your nilfisk when it arrives to see which type you have

Sorry about that, hopefully your pressure washer is compatible as it does look like the same hose I screen shot , did you pay by PayPal if yes was your free returns offer activated? direct hoses shouldn’t really be advertising a product to fit all c series nilfisk if there’s a chance some c series are not compatible

I think you will be OK. Nilfisk did start to put internal connections on some models with the reel as well as alter the style so they were the only ones able to sell longer hoses at the time. However, I believe the 135 requires you to remove the hose completely to screw it on at the rear.

Thank you very much OP. I order one. I do research so long of pressure wash and keep an eye on this model's price.
The £125 is very value for money. Only very short time, this model sold at amazon is £99 without patio cleaner. I do believe this deal is very value. 115 rate bar, induction motor and rich accessories.

The only thing is the auto nozzle and snow cannon are still a little expensive.

The auto nozzle is a useful addition, I have one and it is very effective, especially at this pressure. You can still use the bottle attachment for prewash. It will not foam anything like a dedicated lance but foam that is too thick is not always good, you have to experiment to get the best dilution for your set up with them. I have the original PA lance from Italy, there are loads of copies now, some appear to give up and others work fine. You don't have to get all at once.

Hi my dear, thank you for your reply. you mentioned PA lance, I google it, it is really excellent, even compare the similar type snow foam lance, PA is excellent, could you please tell me where can buy it in UK? I did not find it on the amazon uk.

Addtional, for the undertray of car, "Nilfisk Multi Angle Nozzle+ auto nozzle" vs "Nilfisk Pressure Washer Underchassis Under Chassis Nozzle Wheel Arch Chassis 90°" which one will be better?

Thank you

You can get the PA here
polishedbliss.co.uk/pa-…nce

They are more costly because they are the original and made in Italy. Mine is over 10 years old and perfect. Copies are cheaper but I think it is better to get the original as do Polished Bliss, a reliable company.

I will look at the chassis cleaners later.
