Unless I use it for an excessive amount of time, I am left with light swirl patterns on the stones, once they dry. I have now reverted back to using the lance again, which does a better job in less time.

This made my driveway look a kid had gone crazy with an etch a sketch! Lines all over the place, threw it all in the bin and went straight back to the lance.... much much better!
IMO a waste of money even at this price.

Anyone knows if this will this work with other pressure washers or only with Nilfisk? I am looking for one for my Bosch. Thanks!
Voted hot, good price!

That's because you're using a low powered pressure washer, with those entry level C series you shouldn't use the Power Patio cleaner, instead use the cheaper small one, smaller diameter and needs less pressure to drive.

With my E series, this is a fantastic tool for a rather large patio and also for a brick paved drive to accommodate 4 cars. Saved me a huge amount of time and effort, impossible with a lance and would also have removed the sharp sand.

Recommended, if you have the right unit.

Interesting..... I hadn’t cleaned my patio or block paving driveway in many years, I used one of these and was astounded on how good it was! I was really sceptical but as the Nilfish washer came with it, I thought I might as well try it.

The only time I saw the etch a sketch you are talking about was when it picked up some dirt in one of the nozzles, which made it spin slowly, they supply the nozzle cleaning tool with it.

I was thinking the same. Initially looked OK when it was wet, once it dried, what a waste of water & time. The patio leaner went straight in the bin!

Yes noticed that whilst in there yesterday.
I have a nilfisk with this attachment. Its great, nilfisk all the way. I had 3 karchers before that, never again as the nilfisk as outlasted all 3 combined.
Shame non available round my ends. Heat 4 price 🔥

My lance did the same so I was hoping using this one will be better. Looks like is not. I will probably get back to my Karcher 2, never had this problem when using the lance. Unlike my current Bosch, which TBH I do not think was the best purchase. The only problem with using the lance is I've destroyed in between the flags.
Edited by: "sheffield788" 3rd Nov
Is it any better than the karcher one? My karcher patio cleaner needs to be used over and over the same spot to be any good.
Bleach and a stiff broom is all you need.
ian_uk197504/11/2019 13:08

Have you tried it?

OK if you have a small area to do... completely impractical for the usage this product is aimed at.
Waste of money. Normal lance does a better job.

I disagree. I have quite a large slabbed patio and find a bleach soak followed by either scrubbing with a broom (if it's really bad) or just pressure washing with the regular lance is very effective.

These patio attachments don't clean particularly well, in my experience (and I'm using an E-series machine). They're also not particularly easy to use as the brush 'skirt' has a tendency to snag and 'dig-in' on the surface bring cleaned, so you can't just sweep the cleaner over the surface.

Depends entirely on what you're cleaning and what's sealing the stone in the first place.

Block paving for example is an absolute pig using a lance, you do more damage than good by removing all of the sand. You also end up absolutely covered in ****, and it takes a long time.

Overflag stones with mortar or such, yes you have some options but non (strangely) are better in my experience than tools designed specifically for the purpose.

Your mileage may vary, I paid £39 for my one of these and I'm damned sure I wouldn't want to be without it!
