Wowza, reduced again, making this I reckon one of the best electric scooter buys of the last 6 months.

still a good comparison, despite the outcome.
Pretty sure Xiaomi own Ninebot Segway anyway.

True,

But lower top speed and smaller battery... Yet it still wins the category, because you can add a second (no mention of cost).

It also doesn't mention the 10 vs 14 climb angle.

BUT

Having read it all, I do prefer the Segway - and this post/price, incredible.
Sending over some sweet heat to you MS! 🔥
The solid tyre on the ES2 handles wet road really poorly. Get a bottler of slime and a M365 is gonna as puncture proof.
Just beware of cheap imports - official EU import will give you proper warranty. Have upgraded mine with the additional battery - can’t look back. Better torque, speed and distance.
I got the xiomi pro.
And it's good for really short journeys, but then I wonder why I'm not walking.
Here's why I dont like them.
-These are still quite far away from where they should be. For example very few scooters have suspension. And in local roads you need some sort of suspension.
-12kg weight is actually quite heavy. I tried to use it in commutes and really struggled.
- ridiculously awkward when folded and actually doesn't really save any more space.
- braking technology is in need of improvement. Mine made me almost fall when hard breaking. It maybe normal, but I feel there's more that can be done.

you're not asking for much, are you? a scooter with suspension that weighs less than 12kg and which doesn't brake hard.

suspension adds weight. scooters with suspension can easily be near or over 20kg depending on whether it's on one or both wheels and even then you will still not enjoy bumps simply because the wheel diameter is smaller than a bicycle's.

if you find the brakes too hard then it is an easy fix. you can recalibrate your brakes with an allen key. just watch a video on youtube.

the reason for a folding scooter is because you can fold it up and put it in a car or indoors. it is a trade off. you will never get something that does it all.
