Just a very good service for installing very useful programs that you would eventually put on yourself, this ways much easier

Install multiple applications at once without toolbars or clicking Next.

Useful. Especially after a reformat. Programmes there from Steam all the way to uTorrent. Even having free pdf and zip tools all in one place.

Bear in mind that using the latest version is not a good idea, uTorrent for example is banned on a fair few trackers after 1.8.3
Nice site though

Mmmm a software supermarket, all the goodies in one place.

Thats handy, as said up top, especially after a format.

Good idea, but you need a lot of trust to let this install everything for you. It could be installing stuff and changing settings you don't want like add-ons, automatic updates, file associations, etc (although it says no toolbars will be installed).

Good point. I had it install GOM player and it made it the default player.

Well I'd take the programs default settings, over having to navigate to every site, download the files then install one by one.
With ninite you can just tick all your regularly used programs, then leave it to download and install them sequentially. Big time saver. If any program isn't listed you can make a suggestion, the current list of programs is a lot bigger than when I used it last year.

thanks just what i needed. Recently formatted and still trying to catch up and install everything.

Cool. Will give it a go! Thanks.

Used this for years, brilliant little site. If there are any programs you wish to install to non-default directories though I'd miss them out on the installer.

Very good when you have a lot to install after a re-format though.

Been on here before not voted!.

Good site but spend a little time learning about slipstreaming your Windows CD/DVD you'll never look back my disc installs everything I need inc Office 2007, Flash, Shockwave, Firefox basically everything you'd do all during install with no prompts took me one afternoon to create the "superdisk" inc learning how to do it the skys the limit

Oh also no need for win key or any other serials as they're slipped in too

Nice. I like this idea.

Slipstreaming is good but for a normal day to day user...its hassle .. why go for hassle..
anyway major cons:
How will you go about updating the version of MSN Messenger, Firefox, IE, silverlight, flash, etc etc into a slip stream .

From my experience of ninite....it has the latest version and also takes care of that annoying "add third party tool bar feature or add-on" in the silent install
