Best price to date. When I bought it for £13 last year I thought that was a good deal. A must have for any jidai-geki/action anime fan.
Dual Blu-ray and DVD set which includes a 20-page booklet.

Further price dropped now.

Manga is proud to present the anime classic, Ninja Scroll on Blu-ray for the first time ever! This new HD transfer of the classic action-anime from acclaimed director, Yoshiaki Kawajiri and Madhouse Studio (Summer Wars, Redline, Animatrix) will be available as a strictly limited edition Double Play Blu-ray/DVD Steelbook.

A ninja-for-hire is forced into fighting an old nemesis that is bent on overthrowing the Japanese government. His nemesis is also the leader of a group of demons each with superhuman powers.

Good find but any chance of getting a good price for the TV series?

Well, the DVD set of all 13 eps is £18.30 from Zavvi right now or a 'version' is also available here at CQOut for £12.99 + £1.99 P&P. I can't vouch for this retailer/site as I've not dealt with them before. Ninja Resurrection is only £5.99 at Anime-on-line. Still, I'd recommend only the Kawajiri movie because the other spin-offs don't share the quality character design/artwork or exciting storylines.

One of the best anime, EVER!

Fantastic MANGA Film, one of the very best! The rock monster villain is terrifying!! (Not suitable for child viewing, this is one for the grown ups!)
This is a little cheaper now too and the best available price. Just cleaned up your title and description.
(Other personal faves - Fist of the North Star, Street Fighter II, Monster City, Cyber City Oedo 808)

Yeah it's great, I think the 2nd was my personal fave, though the 3rd was ace too!

Just waiting/hoping for Fist of the North Star blu-ray steelbook

good deal got it for the same price myself a while ago it's a nice steelbook the only priblem I had which isn't a big one is that the bluray transfer is in a 14.9 aspect ratio but it is still a really nice crisp picture so I would say it's definitely worth picking up at this price.

so am I if you dont have it the eastern star american release has got a really good picture and sound I doubt a uk company will ever release it in a steelbook since they cant be bothered to even release a dvd of it even though it's one of the best animes ever.
