How good is this thing....

It is good. Better than other soup makers as you can do much more than just soup. The settings are good. It has both automatic features and manual settings. This means you aren't stuck using the automatic settings and timings that you get with other soup makers. Plus it has a glass jug so you get to see it being made, unlike the Morphy Richards ones. You can see if you need to add more ingredients or throw off some liquid. I'd buy it for £99.

This doesn't just do soup. It is a blender too and also makes jam and other stuff.

I've changed the deal to John Lewis. It is 99p more but you get an extra year guarantee with it.
Most of what this does can be accomplished with a saucepan.

You'd have to stand over and watch the saucepan. With this, you can put all your ingredients in, push a button and go and put your feet up. It does it all for you.

I've avoided ninja products as 1 year warranty only but this is making me think.
How many ninjas will this feed on average would you say?

3 or 4 bowls of soup depending on portion size. You can do 1.4L of soup and other hot liquids and 1.7L of cold stuff like smoothies.

Yeah, the 2 years guarantee is attractive. I think John Lewis only started selling Ninja in the past week. They didn't before. They are also selling the Ninja grill and the two Ninja air fryers.

The two Ninja air fryers are currently at reduced prices, even on John Lewis. The normal one is usually £119 but is down to £89. The larger one, Ninja Air Fryer Max is usually £149 but is down to £99. I'd go for the Ninja Air Fryer Max or the Ninja Grill and Air Fryer. Unfortunately the grill isn't reduced at the moment though. It was over Black Friday.

How did you get it for £80? Did you have a discount code?

Yup, stuck in a 20% one and it worked. Wasn’t sent to me, not sure if it should have worked on a discounted item but it did and they took the discounted price from my card so worth a try if you have an account. If not, the new discount code should work? £99 is still a good price as we are loving the machine
Great piece of kit

£80 is a good price. I bought one last week though from John Lewis though. Only used it once so far. Bought one for my mum too a couple of months ago and she LOVES it. I think it is the best soup maker in terms of features. I'm glad I got it. Enjoy yours. Happy souping.
