Those Maeio prices are shocking!

£39.99 is basically retail prices. Nintendo are only kidding themselves.

They go live tomorrow!

I might just accidentally get every single Kirby game when these go up aaah.

Fire Emblem (not so much the 3DS version but especially the GBA version) is an absolute steal at this price. It's a really rare game and has tons of content. Not to mention an epic storyline, soundtrack, well-aged graphics and terrific gameplay.

Fire Emblem (GBA) is a day 1 sale too which is a real surprise. Especially when the fighter it is celebrating (Marth) doesn't even appear in the game.

Pokemon, Sonic and Mario are a complete waste of space in this sale though. Mario as the prices are a bad joke and they are only 20% off (oh wow I can buy New Super Mario Bros U for twice the price of a disc copy rather than 2.5 times the price) and the other two franchises are not exactly their finest hours. Its not like there is Zelda, Metroid, F-Zero or something else representing a veteran fighter that they could put in those spots...

Skip Kirby's Adventure on NES. The 3D Classics version fixes the slowdown and flickering issues of the NES version so is the one to play, plus it actually runs at the correct 60Hz refresh rate rather the 50Hz mess the NES version is forced to be because a German version exists.

Brilliant thanks for mentioning that With us not getting the Dream Collection (I have an import copy but eeeeh) anywhere I can go on a Kirby binge would be lovely. Just a case of reminding myself tomorrow!

Was hoping for the fire emblem dlc to be on sale, oh well maybe I'll go for the virtual console one instead.

Is the fire emblem gba version being released on the 3ds or Wii u eshop? thanks

Just read op. whoops

this is why nintendo sales are such a joke, for the most part anyway...

'New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U retail download) — €47.99 / £39.99, regular price is €59.99 / £49.99'

£24.85 @ shopto (brand new physical copy) shopto.net/vid…s-u

It is wrong 3D Classics Kirby is £3.59 not sure about the rest.

Kinda just seems like what most places sell them for normally Nintendo e-shop really doesn't do itself any favours stopping the constant criticism

Kirby Classics are worth getting..

Also digital copies are tied to your console not account so not worth buying digital for full releases unless there stupidly good value.

Half true. With NNIDs and Club Nintendo your purchase history is recorded there. You can also do a Wii U to Wii U transfer. Hopefully a proper account system will get announced soon - they're already working on it

Oh wow I did not know about it...

tempted by the kirbys for 3ds over £8 for 3 kirbys is surely good

Shame it is completely false these days. The NNID is your account and it can only be linked to one Wii and one 3DS at any given time. The problem is that is tied to that console unless you use a system transfer. You can get Nintendo to unlink it from a console (say if it was stolen or sold) but the customer services hate doing their job so you have to ask them over and over again and find some evidence from the Internet that they do it. Nintendo have said that in the future there will be a web-based way to manually unlink consoles (like you can on PSN).
