Thanks for posting.
time to rebuy the megaman collection.
It's a shame that the megaman games aren't cross play.
how come the 3ds vc games are more expensive than the wii u versions?

already have animal crossing(got it as part of the buy 3 get 4th free offer) and kid icarus, tomodachi life should be a bit cheaper is £25 from amazon.
Personally I'm voting cold as I think many of these should be standard prices. No offense to OP or the effort involved in posting.

So do you vote cold on every product you feel is too expensive on regular price?

No, because that's not what I said. I apologise to you if what I said wasn't clear enough. I'm voting cold because I don't think these sale prices are a deal either. However, if the sale prices were standard prices, and this post was for half off those, then I'd be voting hot because that to me would be a hot deal.
megaman and pacman looks good :-)
why are the 3ds versions more expensive than the wii u ones?? it should be the other way around!

Wii U ones are grandfathered to Wii prices when 10 Euro was £7 rather than 10 Euros being £9 like on DSi, 3DS and Wii U.
just paid full price for megaman 2 3ds. fml
Damn I just bought punch out at the game collection

I doubt you bought the NES version from them.
Any tips for a Mega Man game to buy?
I have 4 on the NES. Tempted to reacquaint myself with it
Duh just realised this starts tomorrow! I'll bag a couple of games for the virtual console

2 is a fan favorite. Generally 1-3 are considered better than 4-6 were.

It should be £8 according to current exchange rates. Could argue it averages out but being just a 3DS owner it's a shame nintendo can't update the DS rates..

I totally agree. These eShop sale prices are still overpriced. The likes of Pac-Man and other ancient NES game ROMs for £1.74 each (laughably more at £2.24 on 3DS) is hardly a good deal in any sensible person's language.

Please post links to where I can (legally) get some of these games for less than £1.74. Thanks

If they are overpriced, as you (and others to be fair) say, then I would like to know where I can get them cheaper. Cheers

Oh dear: The lowest price for something does not automatically equal a good or fair price for something.

You can't get them anywhere cheaper as you know, because Nintendo has a monopoly on where you buy them from. And monopolies tend not to give fair prices - rather, they keep them artificially high because they can as there's little or no competition.

Understand the basic economics of a situation before you go posting like you actually have a point to make.

This site is about hot deals - not just the lowest prices for anything and everything you can buy, regardless of whether that price is good value or not. And I don't think these games are, so they're still not a deal. Cheers
And this is the typical issue with the eshop: the offers are not too bad, but with their disgraceful non-account system, I really don't feel comfortable buying something from them knowing that it will be tied to the console.

"Basic economics" What are you on about?
You can pick up a MegaMan game for £2.24. Back in the day these games would cost you £40.
What a miserable life you must live if you are complaining about potentially spending £2 on Pacman

I just asked where I could get some of these games cheaper than £1.74.... But thanks for the lesson in economics,

And then you said "If they are overpriced, as you (and others to be fair) say, then I would like to know where I can get them cheaper" - so you equated not being overpriced with being able to buy it elsewhere for cheaper, which isn't the case.. hence, the lesson

Yea, so point me in the direction as to where they are accordingly-priced.... I mean, I don't wanna spend £1.74 on Mega Man 2 if I can get it for less... Hence the request for links, nice one
Lol people will argue about anything nowadays good prices to be fair but on other hand only thing is the tieing to accounts problem if nintendo sorted this out would be great
I've just been in the shop on my Nintendo 3DS and I couldn't see the above games on sale......Pac-Man is still the same price...
