Noticed that someone attempted to post this deal, but got spammed due to the wrong link. Looked it up, and found it to be a real promotion, however there is a caveat... I've never shopped with these guys before, and reviews don't appear to look that good on here: resellerratings.com/sto…top.

Any feedback from customers who have bought from them would be welcomed. Otherwise, this is the cheapest I've seen yet for the Ninety 3DS.

3DS, NINTENDO, DS, Gamestop UK

Edit: - Now down to £134.97

Add street fighter to the order for £12.97, one of the best launch games.

Deal already listed for that:

However, the purpose of my comment was to re-'bump' this deal for those that have missed it so far.

BFN,

fp.

free shipping still working, worth pointing out you have to get to the checkout before you get the choice to change it. ive just been thinking the charge was £2 and the offer had finished till i regestered.

Great price. Anyone got their's yet? Just wait for a refund off a dodgy ebay seller and im ordering!

Got mine today. Ordered yesterday. Great service

hot price! I imagine it'll be around this mark after the 12th aug price drop. Beats waiting if you want one now!

cheaper here

From nintendo site: "Nintendo has today announced a global change in the trade pricing policy of Nintendo 3DS. In Europe, this will be applicable from August 12th"
So you can either buy the full price one now and get some free games (some old school gba and nintendo games) from the nintendo shop or wait for the price to drop on that date

Gamestop were in Ireland but the shipping was still great. Therefore, I'm unsure if the new site is in the UK or still Ireland.

It might be worth hanging on for a further price drop - Nintendo posted their first loss for many years and one of the reasons is the poor feedback they have got from the 3DS model - Make some people feel sick!

Anyway the links below indicates a further price drop in a couple of weeks.

Price drop has already been mentioned, but the free games will be worth more than the cut imo if you buy one now.

20 games and the 10 names released are all great.

Might be great but you don't get to choose the games. Getting games forced on you for buying now isn't much of a choice. It's no brainer for most to wait as it will be less than this in just over a week. Still probably won't sell though..

The talk is that the cut will knock down the RRP by 1/3. So from the Guardian...

Currently, the machine has a recommended retail price of £269.99, which … Currently, the machine has a recommended retail price of £269.99, which retailers have already eroded to a street price of £199.99 with a game bundled in. But from 12 August, presuming that retailers resist the urge to increase their margins on the 3DS, we can anticipate a new RRP of around £170 – equating to a street price of between £130 and £140.

Looks like you could save £15-£25 if you wait two weeks.

Here's what I've found out about the games (for those buying now):

1.Beginning Sept. 1st, Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors will be able to download … 1.Beginning Sept. 1st, Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors will be able to download 10 NES™ Virtual Console™ games at no charge and before they are available in Nintendo eShop for the general public. These games, including Super Mario Bros.™, Donkey Kong Jr.™, Balloon Fight™, Ice Climber™ and The Legend of Zelda™, will be released as paid downloadable games, but Ambassadors can download them in advance of launch for free. Once the paid versions of the games are released in Nintendo eShop later in the year, the updated versions will be available to Ambassadors for download at no cost.2. By the end of 2011, Nintendo will provide Ambassadors with 10 Game Boy Advance Virtual Console games. These include games like Yoshi’s Island™: Super Mario™ Advance 3, Mario Kart™: Super Circuit, Metroid™ Fusion, WarioWare™, Inc.: Minigame Mania and Mario vs. Donkey Kong™. These games will be available exclusively to Ambassadors, and Nintendo currently has no plans to make these 10 games available to the general public on Nintendo 3DS in the future.

Hold out as this will be £99.99 come Xmas .... thesun.co.uk/sol…tml

Dont listen to the sun newspaper, they are clueless about anything gaming. Price is being cut to be more competive with PS VITA, and it was getting cut by 80 dollars over in America, don't think it has been announced on a price here yet.

The 3Ds is having an official price drop on August 12th by roughly a thrid with the new prces been confirmed everywhere except Europe. Assuming we follow this trend the new rrp will be roughly £160. Those who have brought one before this date and access the eshop at least once before this date shall be entitled to 10 "free" downloadable games which consist of GBA and NES ports. So imo for the time being this price is a good price if a. you want one now b. you want free games c. you don't want to wait until a deal on top of the new rrp (ie was £160 now £99).

And the price drop is not because it's making people sick, I would put it down to slow / disapointing sales (3.6 million sold to companies at launch only 700,000 since then) which means there's alot of lonely 3ds' sitting in stock rooms and would guess it's due to several factors including the economy, time of year and lack of strong titles available ie no mario yet.

...Which is good news for consumers ie us!

cheaper else where

might be tempted after the price drop.. certainly not yet though

Because naturally, people bought a 3DS to play NES and GBA games in 2D.

Fixed...

Posted 1 and a half weeks ago this was probably before the price drop announcement.

It was probably hot at the time, all the recent cold votes are a bit unfair.

This deal is so cool now, it's hot! X) Ah well, good while it lasted.

Still think this is a good deal, you get the console now and after the price drop it will be £150 without the 20 free games.

It's nothing to do with that, at all. It wasn't as well received as they anticipated, so Nintendo are now offering people who brought it 20 free games, and the people who buy it after 11:59pm August 11th CET a price drop by at least a third.
