Unless I'm colour blind that ain't no blue. Heat added, currently in the region of "very tempted". Just wish it had some must-have games.

nice

Thankyou so much for spotting this! This is the first in stock deal local to me! :-)

Great spot, picked mine up today from the Swansea store.

Anyone know of any good cases for these?

shouldn't the ds online store be up and running soon?

FFS!
Ordered one two days ago for £20 more - it came today but I want it at this lower price.

I could've got it cheaper elsewhere but went for GAME's free express delivery and 4000 reward points. Do you think they'd refund me the price difference as such little time has elapsed since I ordered it at the higher price? I'm pretty sure companies like Amazon sometimes do this.

Yes. I've heard the date the 6th June from a few sources online, but not sure if this is confirmed yet. Either way, it won't be long.

More importantly, my beloved childhood favourite, the Ocarina of Time, will be out on the 17th June

3 shrink wrapped copies? Sounds like you're quite the fan! Though, yes, same here, finished it more times than I care to even think about over the years after originally getting it for Christmas back in 1998 as a 13 year old :P Almost certainly my favourite game of all time.

off topic but i was delivering catalogues in work(royal mail) and noticed they were flogging this plus rayman 3d and an accessories pack for £340 or if you took finance £490 over 3 year what a rip off.

Is this really worth upgrading to from dsi xl ?

Bloody rubbish. Played Street Fighter, gave me a headache, was very hard to follow the characters. The 3D is like the 3D on the plastic cards you get free in cereal packets.

finally got to have a look at the 3ds , didn't like it one bit, couldn't watch the 3d, gave me a headache, ended up playing it in normal 2d, over-hyped.

Erm, i got the aqua blue one from currys about a week ago
I got them to price promise grainger games making it £145 (as they were asking £197 when they price matched)
This still not able to be done? (obiosully it would only be £149 is they dropped to this price)

I don't think I've ever read anything so stupid in all my life.

I'm no Nintendo fanboy, but they don't deserve to have their new console tarnished by ignorant people like this. I stand by my purchase of the 3DS, yes, the launch titles were weak, but there's some amazing titles coming up.

I think you'll find that's a very accurate description of how the 3D works on the 3DS. 3D is overrated. It only works in the cinema. In a home environment it's headache inducing.

agreed, technically its good but i prefer the 2d myslef as i just mainly play puzzle games...must be getting old lol!! and have a psp for decent stuff

the 3ds even without 3d on is a light years ahead of the ds lite/dsi spec and ahead of the psp (which i also have)

John Lewis have matched Curry's price both online and instore, I just picked one up for £157 & Street fighter IV for £19.95

Nice!

an accurate description of how the 3ds works is "like the 3D on the plastic cards you get free in cereal packets", my dear friend you're surely having a laugh!

I feel sorry for you if you cannot view the 3d effect well, it looks fine to me, on par with the cinema or better.

edit; no rush in getting one I don't think. I did, and there's no games on it at all. They didn't even release it with all of its functions (browser, online store, video recording), that's on its way in an update sometime in june.

Wait it out if a bit more you've waited this long would be my advice, its been in my drawer collecting dust.

Better than cinema? Really? And you say you're not a fanboy? It's a turkey. It's already a flop :

Saunders explained, "When viewing any kind of 3D images (TV, movies etc.), some people might experience minor discomfort." He added, "The effects are short term and have no lasting effect, in fact most players can continue after taking a short break."

pretty cheap stuff, not too long ago they were £250 on pre-order

thanks
i`ll get one now the price is coming down

john lewis now out of stock online but amazon have dropped to £159.99 if you prefer them to currys.

I've spent a few hours on the 3DS and whatever peoples opinions on the 3D, regardless the augmented reality, even in 2D, makes this great and gives the console huge potential for future games.

How do you get this deal?

Website says 197 and the stores are laughing at me at the thought of selling it at 157

Rang up Currys and they say that it is 197 and it has never been 157, which i'm guessing is a lie

Very confusing

Expire as it was £157 when you order and collect in store obviously price has changed ! Instead go to GAME as they are selling it for £157
