brilliant! been meaning to get these but always thought the price could have been a little lower. will definitely pick them up now.

still not playing that damned flower game though...

According to my 3DS, I've pumped in about 200 hours into these games. When did this happen!? Who knew one spends so much time on the Tube.....

I second that. They are basic but a good simple time filler especially after a hard days work.

Oh not that again! That was happening the day these games came out, and Nintendo rushed out an emergency patch to fix it.....

Sorry I can't give you any other advice other than to ask if you've updated to the latest firmware....? (Which you probably have if you're doing anything online.....)

I never would've thought it, but the flower one is actually one I prefer... it's very quick each day but has a lot of stuff to do over time, and it could hardly be more easy so you can never really mess up. Every time you meet Miis in any quantity large or small you can get something out of it, and you can use the money you earn to buy neat stuff like new houses in the game.
...contrast that with something like SP Squad, which is rubbish with only a few Miis and has a very weak replayability, or SP Mansion which is dependent on the colours of the Miis, is very slow, and has permanent mistakes.

On the other hand I have no reservations about SP Battle, you can add to your army regardless of how many people you meet and slowly accumulate troops until you are ready to try the next battle. It's quick and simple even on days where you do decide to fight, and the use of playcoins is quite reasonable (tip: don't spend them all at once, you get better bang for your buck later).

The commonly mentioned downside of SP Garden is that there are a lot of tutorials, but they're spread out over days so you don't get bored and they're really there just to slowly introduce you to all the features available.

p.s. If it wasn't obvious I would recommend buying this if you love using the streetpass on your 3DS (especially now with the generous 6 per nintendo-zone)

I second the gardening game being good. It has a quest guild for goodness sake. Shame Mendel talks more than the offspring of Fi and Navi.

The battle game is the weak link but it should be noted that mathematically the game never gives you an impossible battle (the enemy troops are scaled to yours on your first encounter with them). It is a shame the final battle takes on a completely different form which resembles Alex Kidd boss battles A good trick with battle is to bail out with the home button if you are losing (to avoid losing 10% of your total army). On next boot the game will tell you off but provided you do nothing there will be no penalty (if you invade and try the trick again it docks the 10% anyway). Also the battle 300 monarchs plaza ticket takes way too long. I've had the game for over a year and I'm barely 70% towards that goal (the rest of the games have had all their plaza tickets for a while).

The replay ability of squad is getting better scores and getting all the plaza tickets will take some time. Clear Arcade mode (going through the entire game in one sitting rather than a single stage) and all gems in particular (some of the gems are easy to foul up kill 2 enemies simultaneously ones). All titles is a bit of a grind.

Mansion will either be easy or hard depending on what colour Miis you meet and how much space you set aside to make large rooms (large rooms when made will give much better rank treasure which gives you much stronger weapons).

After havng played all te games about a thousand times I can safely say Flower is my favourite and Squad is my least favourite. This is opposite to what I thought about the games initially.

At the moment it doesn't seem like you can even buy them in a pack together and so they're £17.96 over four painfully slow transactions if you want all 4. Come on Nintendo!
