It's ok, different code on this one. Expired the above now as those codes have expired. Thanks

I think is the best version of the console. Sure it's a bit big but those large screens are fantastic, I have the original 3DS but I just love the XL. If you're buying the XL I'd highly recommend Super Mario 3D Land, not the best Mario game ever made but it always put a smile on my face whenever I played it.

I think you're forgetting it's a 3D screen, not a standard 2D screen.

good deal considering you get an official adapter and the amazon deal has expired.

I'll buy this when it becomes 90 bones

It's amazing that this is more expensive than an Xbox 360, I wish they'd have just started with this model when the 3ds was released.

You would think a console should be more expensive than a handheld considering how much more powerful a console is but they are two different markets so you can't really compare them as they offer different things. Plus this is much more recent than the Xbox 360 and therefore is going to cost a bit more than an older product.

This is a good deal considering you are paying only £30 roughly more than a regular 3DS. Although I tested the 3DS XL in Game last week and I found the screen too big for a handheld but maybe I am just too used to playing my GBA and DSLite X) I think if they increased the pixels then it would have looked much smoother. Personally I am going to wait until the original 3DS lowers to £100 or until a better version is released.

The staff in Game suggested that their in-store bundle offers change weekly, so keep checking.

Screen size, and battery life are the two main selling points for the XL over standard 3DS.

This is showing as expired when I am trying to order now

Thanks philip

Certain flashcarts do work on the DSXL, just unable to play 3d roms yet.

XL looks and feels better for sure. I got the Amazon deal for £158 with choice of free game (can get an AC adaptor cheap enough from eBay, else charger from an existing NDSi will work.

is the amazon deal still avail? tar

black/red currently unavailable, black/silver and black/blue models still available.

p.s. I'd rather buy a Nexus7 and load it up with cheap games!

have one of these, console wise i am severly dissapointed.
compared to vita/psp/phones:
awful speakers
awful cameras
3d in my opinion is poor and almost always off
eshop is so empty, games WAY too over priced, i want super mario land, but not for £4, i have an original thats worth less than that
downloaded cant be re downloaded if you lose the console!
no apps for youtube etc.

BUT

super mario land 3D is a joy to play, its far far far too easy, i had 100+ lives before world 8, but theres something about the game and lots of nintendo games I love and its worth the price of admission for this game alone.
