Anyone know where I can get hold of a sky3ds plus card to go with this? :P

Try buying games instead of stealing them, dirty Thief.

Q.Q
Or perhaps I dont want to carry several games around with me considering that cartirdge (with dock) can be used to extract headers from privately owned games. May not be as Nintendo intended but certainly a grey area and besides I prefer to make best use of the hardware to runs roms etc without manufacturer limitations or needing to carry a library of games around with me everywhere I go.

Just a heads up, this is £174.99 @ Toys R Us, however you can use code 8086839990 for £5 off making it the same price. However you currently get a £10 voucher for spending over £100. You can also use Zeek to buy vouchers, currently it's only 3% off available but I think there's a £3 discount code you can use as well.

This is a great deal for those who got the Amazon promotion on topping up your account though.

About time the UK got some decent themed consoles, we have mainly had rubbish and generic colours. USA and Asia get so much more. I would rather have had the NES 3DS XL that is available overseas, it is far more retro, and it just looks nicer. I suppose this is progress though.

I was lucky to get this for £154.99 from amazon when they had the £25 off £150 code.

I definitely think the SNES edition looks better than that, that is just my opinion though.

no need to buy them expensive cards anymore. You can install CFW using NTRBoot and a normal £10 card.

Yeah fair enough, is all about preference and what you like or think looks appealing. Is nice to have the choice though, right? I think the SNES one looks fine, I just would rather have the NES one is all.

Not all 'normal' £10 cards. Although fwiw it was nice to see a couple of my old r4 cards go for mad money on ebay recently. Thanks ntrboot!

I'm I the only one to find this and the NES variation fugly? I've the non-XL New 3DS with interchangeable faceplates - I'm currently sporting the wood ones which look stunning. Oh, and unlike the XL mine is genuinely portable as it can fit in a pocket.

Way too expensive for a 100% double TN screen.

Only those last 3DS have 100% double TN screens otherwise it's random (only 25% of N3DSXL have double IPS - lucky me i got one of these

I think that one looks bit tacky, like someone's just stuck a nes controller sticker on top. Whereas snes one looks the business. But as you say, preference. But we all have the ability to change our minds.

Pocket sizes are variable, how big is a pocket, how long is a piece of string you know? Changeable plates are a great feature I agree, I love the Goomba ones. They could have and should have produced more plates.

More plates? I think something like 100 (official) exist - and that's not including custom jobs.

Are you including the Japanese imports in that 100 figure there? Even then I am pretty sure there is not 100 official plates.

Also it is limited to a particular model of 3DS. Most people avoid the 3DS because of its tiny little screens. They really should have had a 3DS XL plate compatible console out by now.
