I like the look of this - i assume the likes of bubble bobble, ghosts & goblins and donkey kong will be the NES versions and not the arcade versions ?

yeah, thought as much. not a bad thing though i suppose, as the versions were fairly close.

still trying to build my raspberry pi emulation machine for the real thing though

4p off RRP! These deal are getting too hard to resist

Seriously though you are better off ordering from these than the jokers over at Gameseek that delivered my Borderlands 2 days after launch!! +500 reward points

This deals better from thegamecollection

it looks nice, only thing is ive downloaded half of these on me 3ds already, lets hope they do a snes one next, ill be all over that

RRP not a deal.

This is gonna be the same as my retro DVD purchases. Monkey, Incredible Hulk, Knight Rider, Magnum PI, etc. Seems a great idea, but after you've played a couple of games and realised just how bad they are now, you'll put it away in the cupboard and never get it out again.

Have played a few of these on the VC and the only games (imo) worth playing again are SMB and SMB3.

Having said that, I'll probably get one cos it looks so... dinky!!

Is this the NX?:{

No GOLDENEYE. No PERFECT DARK. No sale....

I want this and I don't want this, I can feel myself arguing with myself for months over this.

Many of these games stand the test of time as they are nothing like modern games and thus don't even feel in the same arena. They are fun and addictive.

I still have my N64 and GameCube hooked up and have a mega drive away but would love a nes and snes but know I won't free up time to play them...

I want this though.

No I don't...

Argh

Getting one when it comes out as some amazing games most which I have on my wii u and 3ds virtual console but it would be nice to own this and play with an nes pad instead on 3ds and Wii u controlls nice item for my collection

Do I need one? Nope do I want want Yep!!!!

50 quid! Think I'll stick to my nes emulator

So much wantzzzzzzzzzz

Sailing close to the wind as to be classed as a "deal"

Well seeing as neither of those came out on the NES...

No CLUE.

It's funny how people class a game that's years old being on digital download and £7.99 a deal because RRP is set at 49.99 and then question this is a deal coz it's RRP but RRP could be a good price and the item could be limited numbers and snapped up. This seems a good price to me.

A deal is in the eye of the buyer

Some people could depending on the amperage.

What if this is 2A and their charger is only 1.2A?

(the charger goes bang)

You do know about amps, voltage and watts and stuff ... right?

Kinda have to point that out to people.

alternatively buy a Raspberry Pi 3 and install Retropie

Do you have the amazon link, I don't see it on the site?

nice! - i still have my original NES with Mario 3 - utterly awesome game!

So this is their Christmas flagship product... a console remaster.

Wow this looks class. As someone who was a SEGA kid growing up, I didn't get much chance to play these classics.

Can't wait for this! I'm assuming there will be the option to save game progress? Or are they opting to make it as authentic as possible and have you sitting for hours on end completing each game...those were the days haha.

Is this a limited edition or one-off production or something?

From Nintendos website it seems they are implementing saves on all games.

As a business, there will be no limit to how many they want to try. Question is, how many times are we going to but them?
