Still saying OOS, if it was instock it should have triggered a stock alert by now.

Is it saying 0 items available? That can happen if too many people are trying to order from my experience?

Yes it is out of stock.

Managed to bag 3! Happy days, only took me 2 months of trying.

I received notification at 8:00 on the dot so slightly ahead of the OP luckily

We are sorry but only 0 item(s) of NINTENDO CLASSIC MINI: SNES are available at this time.

Ordered thanks

Adds to basket. Can’t checkout.

OOS - if you're not too busy this morning you can sit there trying to spam the checkout until one miraculously goes back into stock or better yet wait for one of the many enterprising individuals on here to post one of there stock on Gumtree or eBay where you can pay twice the price for it.

I'd say it pretty unlikely there are many (or any!) games available for the PS4 that are as good as the Snes originals such as Super Mario World, Mario Kart or Zelda. HD graphics are not the be all and end all.

They are selling on Gumtree for RRP - Not much additional profit to be made.

Oh come on.... I fell for this with the first Nintendo mini classic... I played it for 5 mins and it’s now sat in draw... they are poor quality and get boring very quickly! It’s like having a smart phone and going back to a Nokia 5510... nostalgia is great but don’t waste your money on this.

In your case it obviously sounds like a waste of money.

For me - Since I've owned it, I've taken it to work a few times a week - Spent over 20+ hours playing FF3, Mario World & Zelda. And it looks great on the stacked shelves on consoles.

We worth the cost for me.

Might of been a waste for you but not everyone.

Each to their own. I'm playing my SNES Mini regularly.

Having modded it, it's a library of hundreds of fantastic games that show what game design really is. Unlike modern systems where it's still not clear what's classic and what's not, you can pick and choose some of the best the system had to offer, including RPGs which have yet to be rivalled. I could quite easily make the argument that they won't be.

The smartphone analogy doesn't really work for me. It's like saying you can't watch Citizen Kane because it's in black and white and we now have 3D and 4K TV.

Nintendo deals = burn at official price. You can find the SNES Mini everywhere these days.

Exactly.

Anything from the creative fields such as Film , Music and yes, Games cannot be simply compared to products such as smartphones, television sets, etc. where technological advances are the be all and end all.

Yes you can easily say the PS4 Pro is more technically advanced than the Snes, which is pretty obvious duh. But a comparison of the games themselves has to take on board a lot more criteria than graphics and sound.

Otherwise you could say that the very worst modern day games are better than the absolute classics from the 1990's. Which is obviously a load of rubbish.
