I couldn't see anything about sound or needing batteries. Shame as I think I might have purchased it if there was sound

There's no sound. We had them in our prize shop. They look better than they are, but for a hardcore fan I suppose it's worth it.
A little mod with a couple of UV leds from ebay would see this lift to another level - how it should have been - with music too!

I used to play that video game when I was a kid 😃
Cute but underwhelming. Would benefit from some sound, maybe lights.
That's pretty pants, no sound, no lights 💔

Could I instead use printed A4 images, then stick them on to a 500g cereal box, make the diagonal planks with the sides of the cereal box, the sides of the piggy bank with more cereal box pieces, then use a small box to catch the coins and a slot to open the box? (All covered using printed templates?)

The only issue is finding something clear to see the coins falling, remembering it’s more of a piggy bank made using reusable and recyclable items?

Could you use an old plastic wallet that you clip into a ring-binder?

Initially that’s what I thought but they’re not really clear, more on the translucent side and would end up partially clouding the image.
How does it do with 50p pieces?
Bit boring . No sound or animations....
Just looking at this I get the theme in my head lol
This is so clever thought of
