Pretty shocking games..

Gotta agreem each one of those is budget gaming.
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 £9.49 at Coolshop
Over the Hedge Hammy Goes Nuts £10.88 at same
Spiderman Friend or Foe £9.84 at same
Spongebob Globs Of Doom £11.79 @ SimplyGames
Wall-E £9.99 @ HMV
Animal Genius £4.98 @ GAME
Dogz 2008 = no such thing, its either dogz 06 or dogz 2? either way max £8.49
Farm Life = £4.98 at Gameplay

Most expensive 4 = £42.50
DS + Accessory pack + 2 x £5 voucher (off what?!) therefore is £87.50
Accessory pack prob worth a fiver? so over £80 for a DS Lite AND you have to buy some dire games with it.

Sorry but have to vote this cold.

Pretty lame reason for voting cold - this is obviously a 3+ kids pack and the titles are pretty good for most kids IMO, hardly suprising you think it's crap.

Your maths is also wrong -
4 x games = £42.50
Accessory pack is £5
Vouchers = £10
Total = £57,50 which makes £72.49 for the console. And where else can you get a new console for that price?

I didn't vote either way due to the games. There are Lite deals popping up all the time, I feel I did snag the best one (£80 for the DS Lite + Guitar hero bundle) but even if it was just the console for £80, you get a much better choice of games out there.

I still haven't spent over £130 and I have, the original bundle, + guitar hero decades (with another grip), GTA China town wars, lego batman and indiana jones, some of the most highly rated games there are...

That's fair enough, but those games are hardly suitable for 3+ kids, hence why I noted it was a particularly good package for kids.

Yeah absolutely, sorry I meant to agree with you on that part.

I didn't include the voucher because you didn't say what they were off of - if it is just a £5 gift voucher rather than say £5 off £50 then perhaps £72.49 is realistic in your eyes.
In mine however it isn't.
You have to spend £130 on the older version of the DSI, 4 absolutely rubbish games; kids do expect as much as adults.
I seriously doubt anyone in their right mind would buy that particular combination of those games.
Even if they did want those particular games, you can't use those two voucher for the deal you already bought, so unless you spend even more later (which you would need to have been intenting to spend anyway to be a genuine saving) then you don't get it for £72.49
If it was £72.49 that would be a great deal, but it isn't.
Ebay prices, after fees etc might net £20 back on the games, and £8.50 on the vouchers, another £3 on the accessory pack perhaps.. £31.50 after a lot of hassle off £130 = £98.49 net?

Woo look at me I saved a pound fifty off the RRP of a discontinued console?

It isn't hot, it isn't a deal, and suggesting my reason was a
"Pretty lame reason for voting cold" is absolutely offensive. I could have simply cold voted and not said why. I explained exactly my reasoning as a courtesy.
If you want kids games (and you specifically want a lite over a DSI, and don't want a second hand one) pick up the nintendogs pack at RRP of £99.99 and spend £30 on games you actually want rather than being pushed towards cheap games (mostly movie spin offs!) that you may or may not want.
That doesn't mean I don't appreciate the time it took you to post, or the effort in doing so, but it isn't your job as a poster of a deal to sell the crap for them. The point of the site is for us as consumers to get the best deal.
This isn't it.

Note - Quidco, and loyalty points at GAME etc would even reduce the quoted prices even more.

You can justify your reasons all you want, we all have different needs, perceptions and our own individual views of a particular deal - you have yours and that's fine, I just happen to disagree

Clearly, and I respected yours by giving a reason. Offering just a rude response however isn't. If you want to to overpay for an old bit of kit, with kids games you can get for less elsewhere feel free.
I don't suppose I can interest you in some life insurance? :whistling:

Good find, voted hot. Surprised this has not been heated up more.
Is there any way of finding out the colours available online - or is it black as in the pic?
