HMV are selling "Previously Played" consoles including various the Nintendo DS Lite in various colours. They come with a 1 year warranty. I haven't ordered one so don't know if they come "as new" or other condition. If they come "as new" then I think this is a good deal.

Good deal, I like how they have re-badged 2nd hand as "pre-played"

I brought one of these for just under 55 quid and it was in very good condition. The first one they showed me in store was some beat up version but having looked through all the colours there was 1 in very good condition. I would reccomend you ask the guy behind the counter for all 'pre-played' consoles rather than buying online; although they may have higher standards

Did it come in an original box with accessories etc.?

I also noticed that HMV are offering £65 trade-in for an old DS Lite against a new DS model.

Naa for that price all I got was the device itself and a spare stylus. Possibly because the person who traded the DS in didnt have its origional contents (you might get lucky though)

Dunno, seems too expensive for some crusty, scuffed second-hand ds lite that may have unforeseen problems like a weak hinge, dead spots or permanent miscalibration in the touch screen. £40 more gets you a brand new DSi.

i was in the market for a DS recently and went round a lot of high street shops lookin at the used ones. Most were scratched and some were filthy, others had dead spots on the touch screen. Gave up in the end and got a brand new one for £70 delivered of ebay.

Yeah, you may get lucky but from the experience of watching my kids use theirs the things can take a lot of punishment, frequently dropped on the floor, weakened hinges, etc so the value of "pre-played" (creative marketing there!) consoles could vary wildly.
