Have it delivered for a fiver and it makes it £120.00 - 1p more than the Sainsbury's deal but handy if you couldn't get hold of one there...

Not sure if Quidco is available?

Hi mrman007. I understand the voucher can be used for any purchase over £50.

I will try and add it properly to the site.

Voucher added. Is there a way I can properly link it to the deal?

Wonder why these are so cheap?

Though the DSi XL does retain one advantage of a larger screen than the 3DS.

Thankyou

Good deal, it seems a bit of a gimmick simply having a larger screen but i find the regular DSi just seems too small now.

the new one apparently works with 3ds

thanks for finding this i have been looking for one for my son for a couple of weeks.ordered.

I can see why everyone brings up the 3DS in dsi deals but personally im keeping my DSi XL for my DS games, im used to big screen now and dont fancy black borders each side when i play them on my 3DS.

Great price for one of these at the moment so have some heat, I do think they will hit £100 once the 3ds is out though.

doesn't matter how cheap tesco direct are, i would never buy from them again. they're shocking. you buy it from them but if it goes wrong they won't replace or refund you have 2 have it sent away for repair which is pretty inconvenient and i'm sure its almost illegal, i had a sat nav that broke, got it sent away to manufacturer, came back equally broken. bought a wii, had a fault, this was fixed but took about 3 weeks, and had only had it about a month, then bought a tv which broke. would never buy from them again. most recent places will refund or replace, tesco r crap.

I agree, I think the price will come down further when the 3DS is out. But if your not bothered about the 3D (and I'm not at present), this represents the best way to play existing DS games, simply by virtue of its screen size.

I couldn't wait though, and have been itching to play Theme Park without using a spy glass!

Still over priced anyway for what it is. 3DS even worse, but mugs will buy it.

YOU might think its overpriced, but as far as I know its the CHEAPEST.

My great grandson says the DS XL makes games look crud...

The XL has a larger screen but the same resolution, so there may well be some pixellation. But what's put me off the 3DS so far has been the crappy battery life.

there is major pixelation, it doesn't look so good, sold mine recently.

Excellent find. How long is the voucher valid for?

cant request that on these forums, google it

You can, mods have been very lax on this for ages now. Basically, you buy an adaptor (acekard, DSTT R4 etc), and then show your ROMS or "homebrew" onto it and bobs your uncle. Hardest part now is finding a reputable seller of cards as they have been categorised as illegal, way too many fakes and conmen meaning that if you get the card they can be unreliable.

I'm fairly sure that, as the screen is the same resolution and the processing hasn't changed, there is exactly the same amount of pixelation. All that has changed is the ability to perceive it which will depend on how far you have it from your eyes anyway.

The feedback on the larger screen on the XL reminds me of the complaints from people who'd buy massive flatscreen TVs then assert that they made SD Freeview look terrible (though obviously you could argue there is some truth in this regarding LCD/plasma vs CRT).

will the code work for 3DS?

Code ends 3.4.11
Heat added, going to see if it tracks on tbc as that's another 4/5 quid
