First tier starts at £8 I believe. And you get points based on the original price of the game not the sale price
Cross Buy promo appears to be detailed on the US site only? --> nintendo.com/gam…TVC

there's suggestion that it is valid in the UK and that it appears on the 3DS eShop as an item with a 100% discount (i.e. "free")

Gold Coins are earned on any purchase over £4.49

£4.50-£9 = 10
£9-£18 = 20
£18-25 = 30
£25-£30 = 40
£30-£35 = 50
£35-£40 = 60
£40-£50 = 70
£50+ = 80

Gold Coins are based on *individual* sales, not cumulative. And you are awarded Gold Coins based on the original non-sale RRP (unless it's a "permanent discount").
Olli Olli and Stealth Inc 2 are both cracking, a bargain at that price!

to be fair it is compared too the usual Eshop offerings

I am not feeling the excitement here. 9/10 Indie titles I have ever tried on Eshop have not been great.
Will check out the 80p games if they're any good and if so, then I'll buy.

Cheers for the heads up OP!
I'll grab a few of these - seeing they're around 80p. Nice one.
Can vouch for Olli Olli, swapper and Thomas all WELL worth buying at that price. Might even get swapper again (got it on pc). Nova 111 looks interesting too, real time and turn based at same time. Look for game makers toolkit on YouTube for an analysis on it. Anyone got pumped bmx? Looks like it'll be my kind of thing....
Anyone who liked SMASH TV back in the day will love Ultratron!!! For 80p you HAVE to buy it!
Guess I'll be buying a few tomorrow!
Pumped bmx looks like California games
why are these still showing full price for me?
Same here, probably go live later this morning I guess.
Store updated at 2 o'clock the last time I eagerly bought something on a Thursday.
strange still old prices even with deleting cookies

Aye, I should have put PM, sorry. I've heard people mention 1 and 3 PM as well, sit it might not be bang on 2.

The eShop is always updated at 1500 UK time
Not always. See my post at the top of the page.

My picks were: Ultratron, Pumped BMX and The Swapper.
Really pleased with them, bargain for 80p each

yeah the gold coins can be worth around 12 quid depending on what you buy.
Bought them all. Not bad. Got 120 Gold Coins too!

You get OlliOlli on 3DS free I'd you buy the Wii U version - so be sure to buy that first if you have both consoles.
I've bought Thomas was alone, the swapper, stealth inc and lone survivor.

Not sure about the others any suggestions? Buy the lot or just leave em i dont know Not olliolli got that free on the vita ages ago
I bought them all. They all get good reviews and the Gold Coins you get in return are worth £12 if you cash them in, so in a way you're technically making almost £4 by buying all the games...
