There only seems to be a few for Switch, there are more for 3DS, not sure about Wii U
Classic Nintendo - no clue!
Holy......

I bought the physical version of this game for less than that almost at launch.

I hate the prices Sony puts their download games at, but at least when they put them on sale it's usually as hefty reduction.

It's like Nintendo have heard about that SALE thingy other companies do, and feel like they should do one to but simply don't understand the concept.
Someone really needs to explain that the concept of a sale involves reducing prices to Nintendo, only on Switch could £44.99 for a game that is over a year old be considered a hot deal!

I know there will probably be a load of Nintendo fans start defending BOTW, so for them: I'm not disputing the quality of it, just the price...
It doesn't matter what the quality of a game is, there is no excuse for that to be a sales price.
This is Nintendo’s idea of a sale???

At least all the Switch owners have Super Smash Bros "Ultimate" (AKA Wii U …At least all the Switch owners have Super Smash Bros "Ultimate" (AKA Wii U port) to look forward to, £59.99 lololol

Stop talking pish. It's a new game, built from the ground up. It's not a port.

If you have a look about here is a report that shows Steam sales have skewed the market and actually hurt overall sales as people wait for a sale. Before buying.....

we can criticise Nintendo all day but the reality is you can buy their games safe in the knowledge it is not going to be £10 in 6 weeks time from realise....
