Great price for Labo, using the FRENCHDAYS10 code. Price is using Amazon's converter, so sure many will be able to get a better price!

Deals at £50 have gone hot, so think this is a pretty great price.

I'd be getting one, but my 6 month old is probably not quite there yet!!!

WIll this come all in french?
Anyone know if the instructions / box will be in English? I assume there is a fair amount of instructions with this release...
Aren’t all Nintendo games multi language anyway. I know Wii U ones were. Am talking about the box art/cover and manuals

The instructions are in the software, so wouldn't think that would be a problem.

The box on the Amazon France product page seems to be the same as the UK one - "Make. Play. Discover" etc
was resisting, but I ordered now..
€48.14 paying in € using a fee-free payment method = £42.15
Bought - heat added
Does this come with the free stationery kit?

Deal-breaker for me
Isn't this just expensive cardboard, or am I missing something?

It is advertised for kids. It is software with the cardboard pieces to construct and play games with.

It also allows for computers basics which looks a good development tool for kids:

Heat!
I was going to buy from Game today with store credit but this is a huge saving...
FYI, if you knacker your cardboard up, you can download templates to glue onto replacement cardboard and cut them out:

wait a week to see the hype die. £50 or mores worth of cardboard will be collecting dust in your spare room before you know it, cant imagine its that re-sell-able either.

Where do you find the correct cardboard of correct size/thickness/strength to be folded up, The average person is not going to be able to recreate a well working piano labo with cardboard, This is going to be he biggest flop Nintendo has ever made when the day one novelty has worn off. Just looked it up and it takes 2-3 or more hours to make some of the items... that's more then you will ever spend playing with it. lol

I think that's the idea... that some fun can be derived from building and customising the the toys... Lego doesn't come pre-built
Many games (especially Switch games) are around this price anyway and the cardboard is only a (replaceable) part of it.

I'm not that bothered about it myself (I'd have prefered plastic parts) but my daughter is really psyched for it... it makes a change from the usual gaming experience and it could serve as a gateway into electronics / robotics for many young minds

It's hard to imagine that someone else might be interested in something that you're not, isn't it.

You should see some of the actual gaming sites. Resetera is hilarious - some people are basically willing it to fail.

The building is an essential part of it. And I think an essential part of the fun. Complaining about that would be like complaining about Lego or model kits.

At just over £40, I think it's great. At £60 it seems expensive.

It's not for me, but I can appreciate an original and innovative concept when I see one. As well as the obvious crafting element, there seems to be a lot of potential to develop coding skills and go off-piste with your own ideas. I work in distribution and I think a lot of people would be surprised at how expensive cardboard actually is...
Damn it I just picked up my preorder from smyths. Tonight’s building will have to make up for the £10 premium!

Not really... There's a higher than average chance it will be your latest dust collector though, still playing with your snes mini are you? Just advising people to not get swept up in the hype like Nintendo wants you to be.

Hi grudge92! Sounds like someone hit you with a joycon and you haven't gotten over it! I'm only joking This is excellent for a child's creativity and imagination! I bet most of us as children would have been dying to get one of these had they been around when we were growing up. Yes, it will probably end up a dust collector but I think there will be some great times not only for the kids but for the whole family

How many times have we spent more than this on night out drinking and haven't thought about it?

The email I got from Amazon France said valid for 27th and 28th April.

A lot of the sites out here have it for a few days around this weekend.
Not working on Labo for some reason, but is working on other games...
Weirdly mines getting delivered today already? 1 day delivery from France? Only paid £42 odd cos my card is zero load. Does prime work across Europe !?

It is likely they dispatched from your local amazon warehouse. They did that when I ordered a New 3DS from France a few years back.
Ordered yesterday, received today. Cracking service.
£79.99 in game - ouch!
