£10 for the power adapter is not good. You don’t even need one if you have usb on your tv.

Depends. Just because it has a USB doesn't mean it has enough power to run properly.
These guys arent even Nintendo, they are The Hut Group, i sent something back faulty and they give me a refund in parts about 2 months later, i had to open a credit card dispute for the rest, shocking company

This might help someone, I use a powered USB hub. Works great for anything that needs usb power (mini snes, mini nes, hard drives, etc)

Shhhhh, don't tell people that. Let them carry on, overheat the components in the TV and blow it up
The console is £69.99 on its own and the power adapter is £10 on its own, its the exact same price to buy them seperate.... Not much of a deal, cold from me.

A name you can trust When you shop with Nintendo you're buying your games and consoles directly from the people who produced them

Then in the cookie policy....

The Hut.Com Limited on Nintendo's behalf

Seems legit...... Legit does mean deceptive doesn't it??????
well suppose its same price as dodgy other national retailers but at least with an official accessory
How many more of these are they making?

It's shocking, they should make it very clear they are the hut group in large logo and letters on the website, as most people are very aware on this forum that the hut group are the devils work

Although what you say is true, I’ve honestly been amazed what usb sources the SNES classic will run on.

It’s at the point where I think if you just wafted the cable in the air gently it might provide enough power to run it.

You save £1, as the adaptor is £10.99. But when it comes down to it, at least you get the adaptor with this deal, whereas with the other high street stores it's just the console on its own (that's the only plus point).

But you shouldn't be forced to purchase extra electronic waste just for the sake of it.

Bought an extra one from Amazon Prime with code for a similar price and sold it to CEX for £90 quickest £45 I ever made.

I don’t think this console has done well as they expected

It outsold the PS4 in the months it was released and continued to do so. It also outsold the NES. The fact you could not buy them until recently kinda makes your comment crazy. Last figures I saw had over 3million sold.2 months ago its 2.3 million made were 100% sold out.
Even though this isn't a hot deal, for anyone thinking of buying one, I've been really impressed with the SNES mini. Having the wired original controller makes driving games feel so much tighter than running an emulator on another device with a Bluetooth controller. We needed a device to make sure we'd still be playing Mario Kart in 20 years time and this delivers.
