by the time I added to basket and went to pay, kept cancelling transaction....bugger!
Bought and collected! Sorted
Thanks, one happy son

I managed to get my hands on one of these for my husband. He was like a big kid on xmas morning so delighted with it.
It says outta stock but when press click n collect it goes to paypal and says collect in 15mins from local argos stores ..... but when i look on argos website it says all out of stock..... very confused??????? Do i take chance and order of am i just wasting my time and when ingo to collect it wont b there?!
Thanks OP, ordered one!

Now I must try and stop spending money!
These are over rated, for the same sort of money you can get a Raspberry Pi3 install retropie and you can play literally thousands of games from every console unto PS1 (including sega master system, NES, SNES, Genesis, Neo Geo , N64etc etc) and arcade games via MAME. You can get replica SNES controllers too pretty cheap.
Yes it takes a bit more work i.e: buying the bits (RPI 3, case, power supply, controllers, Micro SD card) and takes a bit of setting up, the overall end product is far superior to this though.
Nintendo deliberately produce these in small quantities so that demand and prices stay high. That being said they are good for collectors for the nostalgia etc as they are an official Nintendo product. So may be worth buying and keeping in storage to sell on in a few years for increased value. Apparently Nintendo are ceasing production of these at the end of 2017.

Can you point me to a how to on this please?
I dont mind putting in the work if it means i can get a much bigger multi platform retro library.
Im a novice but i can follow walk throughs
ordered one to collect from kingston upon thames store which was cancelled five minutes later due to stock and now i can't use the code again to try and a different location!
Pretty sure Nintendo are now extending the production of these into 2018 (a change from originally claiming they will cease at end of 2017) sounds like some sort of marketing suspense drip feed tactic.

You can find guides online on retropie wiki or other sites like the below:

howchoo.com/g/n…rig

Also google the Nespi case from retroflag it's a very nice case for the Pi that makes it look like an original NES
Anyone how you can add more games on to these? There is a hack i believe
There is indeed a hack where more games can be added.. hackchi2 by Cluster M.
