These are discounted for a reason such as damaged or scratched etc.

It's only £20 more at Amazon for a brand new one, that isn't all grubby, and probably isn't nicked
Used?

Brand new, with accesories and a game. Punt FIFA and it'll likely work out cheaper than giving CEX your money for whatever they send you.
For this price at CEX it'll be either grey with blood red or grey with heroine brown!
For those unfamiliar with CEX, yes, you may be saving a few quid, and if £10-20 is important to you, fair enough, BUT, games and consoles traded at CEX are usually in poor condition (at best).

so you have been to every store/warehouse and done a survey, if not how can you make this assumption
Only good if you're trading up old stuff.
I don't like cex but I wouldn't knock them off for a trading up deal.
Cex so overpriced
Why do people expire deals just because it goes cold?!?

I would be wary though of a discounted Switch, as it’s more like a phone or tablet, with a screen.
Other consoles are just boxes under a tv, it doesn’t matter for fonts and scratches.

However if you don’t care for buying a second hand phone, then this is good price.

As much as I poke fun at CEX, I have bought a vita and a new 3ds from them. It was their highest price tier for the product, but both items looked brand new.

Sometimes I've looked at something in store and it looks like rats had an orgy on it before it was traded in. I have never bought of CEX online, but will always check condition of anything that I purchase in store.

I agree in sorts. Just generalising based on my own experiences. It's true however, I bought a Pixel smartphone, 'like new' condition. That's a rare case however.
