Much cheaper than the UK. Price shown includes €4.25 postage. No stock in most places in the UK so may come in handy for some.

Great deal. Was hoping to pick up one in Smyth's yesterday but had to settle for the lite.
Also known as V2...

Do you have to pay interest or how long do you have to pay it all off

Pay it all off makes most sense otherwise the interest will be more than the fee free saving. There are other non-credit card options which I'm sure others on here can suggest.
Thanks OP, really hard to get one in the uk since xmas

I know, I've been watching like a hawk for a decent deal. So frustrating
Is it a pain in the backside to return a faulty item bought on amazon fr?

you have to pay postage which gets refunded eventually. if any issues, just wave a white flag.
Thanks @tempt one more question! I’m using a halifax clarity card on the site but being charged the higher price. Anyone know what I’ve done wrong?

Change your currency to euros. Then MasterCard will convert it when it comes out of your account. No transaction fee charged then.

Good deal as switch prices may go up due to Corona virus halting a lot of production in factories hence short in supply.

Don’t be silly. They were hardly in stock anywhere before the virus broke out
Excuse my lack of knowledge but if I was to purchase this on my normal debit card what amount fees wise would I be looking at?

If you choose to pay in GBP you will just pay £254.56 or whatever the exchange rate is today. If you pay in EUR it totally depends on your card issuer.
Noticed a few 1* reviews saying they are bundling the old Switch with the new packaging... Be prepared to return it, though it is sold by Amazon rather than a 3rd party so it shouldn't be too painful.

I saw this too, not sure they'd unbox and replace with an old switch. Seems strange for Amazon to do but could sort of imagine a third party seller doing it. However definitely worth noting.

Edit: I've just gone through all the reviews, I think there are 3 which say they received the older model but around 10 mention that it is definitely the newer model. Hard to know if they've been ripped off or whether they just don't know what the difference is in the models.

So apart from the packaging being different on the new versions how can I tell which switch I’ve received?

Serial number I believe and also model numbers.

Taken from google:

"If you want to tell which model version you have when the box isn't handy, you'll need to flip the system over and look on the backside. Just below the Nintendo Switch logo, you'll find the model number. The new Switch's model number is HAC-001 (-01), whereas the original Switch's model number is simply HAC-001."

Nice one! I've still not bought one yet, still trying to decide whether to wait or not. How does it feel in handheld mode? I've not got massive hands so not sure if I'll end up with hand-ache using it.

Go on, treat yourself! Feels perfectly comfortable to me in handheld mode, I like to have it on its stand with the pads in either hand, very convenient gaming.
