There's always a lighthouse. There's always a man. There's always a city.

Experience the unforgettable worlds and monumental stories of the award-winning BioShock series with BioShock: The Collection. Journey to the cities of Rapture and Columbia across BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition, including all single-player add-on content. Fight for your life and outsmart your enemies, be it deep beneath the waves or high above the clouds.

BioShock: The Collection contains all three games within this critically acclaimed franchise - BioShock Remastered, Bioshock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition. It also contains all single-player add-on content for all three games.

BioShock Remastered - Explore the undersea city of Rapture, a haven for society's greatest minds that has devolved into a dystopian nightmare. Amidst the waterlogged ruins, a new ecosystem has emerged, where deranged Splicers hunt down the Little Sisters who would be helpless without their hulking Big Daddy guardians. Your only hopes for survival are quick thinking, reclaimed weaponry, and powers granted by DNA-altering Plasmids. To defeat Rapture's mutated monsters, you must become one.

BioShock 2 Remastered - See Rapture through the eyes of Subject Delta, a fearsome Big Daddy prototype on a mission to rescue his missing Little Sister. 8 years have passed since the events of the first BioShock, and Rapture's denizens have rallied into a collectivist cult. Wield even more Plasmid types, face off against a host of new enemies, and venture beyond Rapture's art deco architecture to traverse the ocean floor.

BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition - Indebted to the wrong people, private investigator Booker DeWitt must take on an impossible task: travel to Columbia, a flying city above the clouds, and rescue a woman who's been imprisoned there named Elizabeth, and she has the power to tear at the fabric of reality-a power her captor thinks will fulfil his warped vision of the American dream.

This is an old as hell game. Charging almost £33 for it still Nintendo Switch's cost of ownership is stupidly high.

I'd just buy an xbox and get it for a tenner in the next sale

You'd pay hundreds of pounds just to get a game for a tenner

Seriously though I think anyone interested in this is mainly going for the handheld aspect... I've double dipped many times cause a lot of games are just more fun and convenient handheld. FPS's are admittedly not the best experience if you're usually used to kb & mouse, but I guess you get used to it.

If only I didn't own all of them on pc, it's not a bad deal though

£5 on PlayStation at the moment I think.
Had no idea this was being released for the Switch!

They've dropped the price on the Borderlands Collection too. Just cancelled and reordered. Guessing they've tried to price compete with Base.
Let me guess, the cartridge will have Bioshock 1 while 2&3 are downloads?

"The BioShock Collection cart will include the opening acts of all three games. The later content for each game as well as add-ons will need to be downloaded separately."

Most people buying this want it for portability.

Yes I believe there will be this, xcomm and borderlands from 2K on the switch this year

I see your point, but it’s three games admittedly and being able to play this on the commute, a couple of beers in on a sun lounger, in bed while this mrs is asleep... plus it’s a new port? I cut it some slack.

Also I’m an idiot who bought this for Xbox a few weeks ago (never opened it) and will, no doubt, splash the cash on this also
Brilliant price dependant assuming downloads are not single use codes that are tied forever to one account (maybe a big assumption!)

And those criticising the price, when you can play your £10 Xbox version of these games on the bus then we can talk

As others have said, Borderlands is the same price. No discount on Catherine unfo
Wait and see what the ports are like before buying
Good price for a preorder. Just can't bring myself to pay it when I've got them all on steam.
Even now, having played each title more than once...I haven’t really found a game that comes anywhere close. They are amazing!
It’s not nintendo prices, it’s portable tax

It’s a long commute to the kitchen table

Pretty good advice right here considering how bad some of the ports are.

Wow. Screwe that then.
I know it’s probably cheaper for NS but overall it’s absolutely a rip-off. It was free about month ago on PSN

Your comment literally just said 'I'd buy an xbox and get the game for a tenner' suggesting it's cheaper to get an xbox to play the game

Three fantastic games for thirty odd quid for the first time on handheld is a ridiculous price? Plus this is a pre order... It's not even out yet for the system ofc it isn't going to drop loads before its even released. Its a fantastic price for a pre order

The Switch will be great in 10 years time when memory cards are ten times the size and you can download all the games for cheap. Unless you really value portability it’s just way too expensive at the moment.

What are you talking about, it's great now?
So many great exclusives and with the recent cross platform saves on games like Witcher 3 and Divinity even better.

I credit my survival in lock down to my Switch.

Stoked Bioshock is coming, will be good to revisit rapture one last time. Plus can play it garden whilst getting a tan!

I guess because I was one of the few Wii U owners I find it hard to get excited about the Switch.

Once you remove games that are also on Wii U (Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Zelda, Bayonetta etc) and then also games I’ve already played on other consoles like Bioshock, The Witcher 3 etc then there’s not loads left that interests me.

Dunno lots more exclusives to play now Animal crossing, luigis mansion 3, Mario Odyssey, Tetris 99, smash bros ultra, cadence of hyrule, astral chain, links awakening and stacks of indie games. Plus I botw 2 and method incoming. can't put it down once I've picked it up.

Probably why it's shifted bucket loads, it's already sold out the Wii u 3 to 1!
I love my Switch but this was free on PS Plus, as others have likely pointed out, so not a good deal by any means. As usual, Nintendo are very late to the game with a third party title.
As mentioned above, this Bioshock collection on PS4 was actually one of the free PS Plus games back in February for anyone that might have added it to their library but not played it yet it should be worth a playthrough now that a lot of us have got some extra time on our hands right now.

It would be very worrying if these weren't good ports, these are PS3/X360 games after all
Paying money for something that isn't on the cart. Ridiculous.

Nintendo should be upping the size of their cartridges by now. I will never spend this amount of money, for something that isn't truly in its entirety on what I've bought.

Yes, very, very old ones. First one released in 2007. And there are far better games sold for much less on other platforms. Nintendo loves selling “microwave dishes” in “good restaurants” prices.
