I’m with you here, buddy. The idea that an ‘Expert’ can essentially re-post your earlier deal on a technicality - without giving you any credit - is quite frankly an embarrassment.

Editorially it makes little sense either, as we’ve now lost the earlier discussion about the seller etc, and people with ‘Switch’ alerts will inevitably be thinking, ‘Wasn’t this posted earlier?’ Yes it was.

A fine example of community spirit (or the lack thereof), and pretty much sums up the site for me.

My post had both Neon and Gray

Rightly or wrongly, @jco83 is correct.

Wrongly

This site was founded on the notion of people helping each other out (albeit with Paul sitting in the background raking it in as we did so; I’m not naive). That vision is completely lost.

The cool thing to do would’ve been to tell the OP of the original deal that it was still available in grey. But no one ever got rich by being nice, I guess. Viva los technicalities!

Works on Chrome OS too on my Chromebook.
Edit. But once you've claimed the credit I'd recommend uninstalling the extension.

Absolutely disgusting...

Shameful behaviour!

Is it a problem that it uses a us plug with UK adapter? Will the WiFi frequencies be different for a US model?

I can confirm the expiration date; "Activate the credit by clicking through Amazon Assistant, and use your £10 credit before July 28, 2019 on any physical goods sold by Amazon.co.uk. Look for the discount at Checkout. "

@silvercondor

I was going round in circles last night trying to find these banners for getting the £10 credit with no luck, eventually found the correct link to Amazon to be told I’m not eligible. So today comes, made 4 - 5 purchases and now it straight up decides to offer the £10 credit after the fifth purchase, charming. Didn’t have to be install the assistant app though, not sure if I was looking at something else?

It could be that the other 4 items your ordered were not sold and dispatched by amazon.

Every single item purchased has been Amazon stock, anyway, the Audible £10 credit offer has also suddenly worked too after not being available to me earlier, there’s no coincidence to any of this I’m sure.

Aww man, don’t get me started

I’ve got £10 credit from installing the Amazon Assistant, and a further £10 from taking a free trial of Audible.

Looking at various items sold by Amazon, such as Bloodstained (PS4), I’m occasionally offered £10 off, but I’m not sure which £10 (if it matters, though they have different expiry dates).

However, at no point am I able to take £20 off, and more often than not there’s no discount at all Amazon Live Chat insists I have £20 credit to use.

As far as I can tell, I presumably can’t use both discounts at the same time, and I don’t think you can further discount Prime Day deals. Someone also suggested you can’t use the Audible £10 for gaming.

I’ve just tried adding first Prime day deal I came across (toothbrush) to see if the discount codes are applied and yeah it deducts the full £20 (£10 credit for MasterCard 1 click deal plus £10 from the Audible trial). Not tried using on gaming items yet.

After various live chats with, and phone calls from, Amazon, the upshot is that I managed to get the Cars Trilogy DVD (£9.99) and Symphony of the Night (£29.84) for £13.33

EDIT: Not SOTN; Ritual of the Night! Freudian slip.
