Eh? Where did you get 279 from?
Great find!
It's 309 and not 279
Not too shabby.
Good deal at £309 to be fair! Heat!
Considering Mario Odyssey is £40 odd everywhere on its own this is a great deal. That and I'm guessing 99% of people who are going to buy a Switch will want that game. I don't see the point of the joy-con grip though, unless you're buying a second set of joy-cons.

Great deal! When you add to the basket, the discount should be applied. Also applies to the neon and blue switch if you don't fancy the grey!33386316-pJf6u.jpg

Unfortunately you can't get Mario Odyssey for £20 on the neon Switch. Only the grey has that offer, however I've just replaced the casing on one of my Switch consoles and joy-cons to white. Looks decent to be fair.

Probably the best deal for the Switch since Cyber Monday (Switch + Rabbids + Odyssey for £299 @ Amazon).
Hmmmm tempted. Do I bite or hold on a bit longer? I’m not sure whether deals will get much cheaper soon but my main concern is games. Current catalogue and forthcoming pipeline appear to largely consist of ports and indie titles.
Bought, thanks op
takes the console down to about £235 by my maths. hot hot hot.
Great price! I think this is on par with the tesco deal I got (switch + fifa + case and sp for 259). Selling fifa for 28.80 to game netted console with the case at 230. This should be similar if sold the games. Hot!

P.s. for those on the fence (as I was) switch is amazing and zelda is just... I'm failing to find words to describe just how good it ks! Must have for any switch owner!

I'm on the fence as well but my question is about the longevity of the device. I've seen people buy the switch for Zelda and upon completion it just sits on the shelf and is never used. I'm trying to justify the purchase so can anyone give me some more pros?

Those two games sell for £40 together at cex, it it works out £260 for the console. but its actually cheaper since you probably going to buy odyssey anyway.

Zelda is a good game but not a very good zelda game. everyone interesting is dead with less than 10 line of dialogue and anything interesting happen in the pass. No traditional dungeon or item acquirement make it feel like no real progression. Gannon is as bland as it gets. weapon durability is annoying but despite those problem, the game is fun to play, the grass plain is breath taking. the world is finely crafted and littered with small things to do.

Well I do travel quite a lot foe work so having a proper mobile console was a really sound idea to begin with. I reckon the other selling point is the different modes you can play in- ise it woth tv and in an instant swotch to the handheld mode if you urgently need a #2 for example. It keeps the value well so I guess there would be no problem selling it and not making a big loss, if it ends up unused.
So far I have only played zelda and a bit of fifa - which with ultimate team on the go is a great idea! The only negative thing I can see thus far is the fact that games are expensive and there is not a massive library of them. But I have not turned on my ps4 since I got the switch and I dont think I will in the nearest future
Just had an email today stating you can claim gold points (1 gold point = 1p value) from your Nintendo Switch game cartridges. It's only 1% but it's from Nintendo's undiscounted prices, so basically you get 50p off almost every game cartridges. Which can now be spent on the Nintendo Eshop and Nintendo website. I managed to get £7.85 worth in points. Something for nothing I suppose.

You also get 5% off download codes and Eshop purchases.

WTF
As a selling point you're citing the fact you can take it with you when taking a dump!?
Do you travel for work as a Nintendo sales rep by any chance?

sure you can sell it abit more yourself but i cant be bother posting online, wait then setting up meeting etc for £5 extra, especially if you not live near big citys. cex is pretty decent (compare to GAME anyway)since they buy new games for £32 for the first 2 or 3 week after release
Also works with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe FYI, this is a great deal. Shame you can’t add the extra game for £20 with the Neon version, definitely worth Bon at this price though. Great find op.
Thanks OP, ordered. Can anyone recommend a decent case? Tried Amazon but lots of choice (too many). Thanks.
Heat from me

The last 6 weeks Tesco have had some great deals on the Switch

They have. I finally bit at 259 with fifa and the case a few weeks ago. Very happy

Up the baggies!
Ah so tempted.. really did want the neon version tho
Im so close to pulling the trigger. Getting Odyssey from Tesco for £13 recently thanks to a combo of vouchers and gift cards means id love the neon switch, mario kart and mario & rabbids for 300. Paying 10 for grips isn't ideal nor having the dull grey version so i think i might wait for a slightly better offer or to combine these 2 with a tech voucher tesco do offer on occasion.
Originally i wanted a switch and 3 games for 300. I expected to wait longer than this but if they do that 20 off 150 spend again and these are still on, im in.
Wait for Xmas! 293 days to go!
I wish there was a deal that didn't force me to get dross that I've no interest in. The 3 games I'd want would be Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey and Zelda. In terms of accessories I'd want a case and maybe a comfort controller. So often I'm told the customer is king and companies provide only what the market asks for. Who the hell out there is asking for Mario Rabbids?
Are the copies of rabbids physical or is it a packin download code?
Though a second hand sale would probably net about £20-25 (a whole £18 at cex) for that title meaning the simply games pricing on the switch and adding a game is probably about the same really just with less effort of re-selling stuff? I'm far too on the fence about this

I had the same worry, it's a lot of money to spend on something that doesn't get used once the novelty wears off (like it did with the Wii).

However I can't see it happening with my switch, I use it loads more than I thought it would, so much so that I hardly play my Xbox One anymore, and I never thought that would happen!

The things I like the most is the portability, being able to play it anywhere is so handy, and the 'instant on' where you can turn it back on and carry on exactly where you left it, is just awesome.

I haven't played half of my new Xbox games as I don't have the time to sit down and get into them, but with the switch you can play as little or as much as you like and put it down/pick it up in an instant. I like it so much that I've actually started rebuying the Xbox games I haven't played on the Switch!

I've put an 128GB SD card in there, and got a case that fits another 2 controllers and it means I can take my entire games library with me everywhere I go and play it with another 3 mates if I fancy it, all from one tiny little box!

TL;DR

I highly recommend you get one, I've been really surprised by how much I like it and play on it.

Yes its a lot of money and the games are expensive, but the fact that people are paying those prices is testament to how good the Switch really is!
How long do you guys think it will be before i can get a Neon Switch with Zelda and Mario kart for under 300?

ok. Might have to pull the trigger quicker than that! Time to get some tat on ebay
Ok finally I succumbed to the temptation. Had some Tesco vouchers so I managed to get this for £290 which I think is a fair deal?
What's Nintendos online services like? I've not owned a Nintendo since a kid and quite fancy Mario Kart for online play.

Just got this deal. Best out there if you are prepared to sell Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle, getting around £25-£30 on eBay or £18/£26 for cash/voucher respectively at CEX.
